Dez chuckles. "ALRIGHT! THE CONFUSING "WHATEVER-THE-HECK-PLACE-THIS-IS-AREA" IT IS!" Dez declares with a fist pump. She wasn't yelling but more like said it with gusto.

A contented hum came from his lips. It was pleasant to see Dezolina enjoying herself. "Yes..!" He said, mimicking her enthusiasm. Though with that straight expression of his, it could easily be taken as sarcasm if it wasn't for the spark in his eyes. He followed her as they made their way to the mysterious landmark.

She chuckles at Owen's very straight enthusiasm finding it slightly cute.
What is with him?
Dez looks at the map. "Okay so the map says the area should be this way." She points past the fountain to old buildings. "Must be their old town square, those buildings look ancient." She exaggerated with a laugh.

He took the map from her, looking at their surroundings. It certainly was the right place. People seemed to be around here too. Older structures came into view, and it felt like walking into another place. It was an odd feeling Owen couldn't describe, but he liked it. He had a twinkle in his eye and some awe in his features, a nice change from the stoic expression he had all evening this far.

Dez looks at Owen with a cheery expression. She smoothed out her dress as they get to the old buildings. "Wow this place almost makes me nostalgic." She touches the wooden frame of a house. "What do you think boss man?"

"It's like I walked backwards..." He said, still rather in awe by the whole experience. "You don't walk backwards..." Some of the buildings did look as old as maybe himself, but there was little to compare it to. It had its own special look and feel to it.

"Walking backwards..." Dez's boots click against the wooden floor of the building as she goes inside. Penelope touches the stair rails while going up the stairs slowly. "Going back is dangerous but then again--" She turns around and smiles bright at Owen (Dez was back again) when she reaches the top of the stairs. "So is going forward since you never know what might happen." She waves him up. "Come on boss man, we've got a rose to find!"

"Going forwards is ok..." Owen pondered. "Running forwards is scary..." He looked up again at Dezolina as she grabbed his attention. "Yes." He said almost rehearsed, joining her up atop the stairs.

"Running isn't so bad Especially if you already know where you're going." Dez nods. "But you still have to be careful since you can trip if you aren't looking." They walk into a room filled to every corner with roses. "I guess we're looking through these. You can stay here Owen." She raises her gloved hands. "I think I'm better equipped for this one." She picks up her dress and waddles in carefully. "Geez when they put on a hide and seek, they really put on a hide and seek huh?"

"And fall." He added, distracted right after by the roses in the room. The smell was intoxicating, so many in one small space, captured. "Ok." He told her, just enjoying the scent of the room.

Dez reaches into the roses and starts pushing them out of the way. She started close towards the entrance then headed deeper in. "White rose, white rose, where are you?" She bends down a bit more and pulls on the roses to see at the bottom.

Penelope's head hurt from the overpowering smell of the roses also hurting her nose to be so close. "Ugh..." She shook her head from frustration. Who thought that putting so many roses in this enclosed area was a good idea? Lost in her thoughts she trips on one of the roses and goes down into the pile in front of her making the roses explode in a flurry of petals. Well drat... Penelope knew she had more coordination than this... guess it was time to play it off. The only thing you could see of Dez's torso was her hair which was sticking out from the pile although covered with petals. After a few seconds her hand shots up holding a white rose. "...found one." No sooner had she spoken her hand dropped and disappeared into the pile of roses. Dez huffs and groans. Some day this was.

"?" Owen reacted somewhat slowly to her. He saw the flurry of petals, and the air exploded into scent. "Dezolina--" oh, and her hand shot up. Owen reached out and pulled her out of the pile, albeit a little roughly.

"Okay okay! Ouch ouch!" Dez complains as Owen pulls her out by her hand. She comes up with scratches on her face and petals stuck all over her. Dez spits out a rose petal and a few strands of hair. "Well at least this was a fruitful event." She raises the white rose up to him.
