Dezolina had never heard of someone calling food 'tidy' before and it made her chuckle. "Mister Owen you are interesting to say the least." She takes a bite of her kebab. "Did you want one of your own? You should get one if you have the money to." She swallows.
Dez didn't have table manners apparently.

People had used that word with him before. He never knew if it was a good or bad thing - it had been used with both intentions before, after all. He looked a little lost until Dezolina started talking again.
Upon hearing the suggestion, he ordered one for himself and started to chow down on it. Still could do with more salt, he thought. He seemed focused on his food now.

A Bell rings four times echoing throughout the town square drawing everyone's attention to a large stage in the center. A man in a tailored suit stands in front of the crowd when he's certain he has the people's attention he clears his throat and speaks in a large voice.
"Greetings family, friends, visitors and guests. We are glad you decided to join us for our Rose Festival! It is time for our main event- the Rose Hunt. It is a tradition of ours that has been celebrated for years and this year is no different. For those of you joining us for the first time this year, as a visitor or you just wish to have fun (there is a child like cheer from the crowd), I will be happy to explain the rules. There are four roses, pure white, amoung the red roses. These white roses have a gold ring on them and you must find these roses before anyone else, and whoever gets the most roses wins a prize at the end! If you wish to participate in the event can come up to the stage and get your map. The hunt will start after the third ringing of the ceremony bell! Anyone can participate who is of age, so please don't hesitate to come and have fun with us. Thank you." Her bows and exits off the stage.
Dez swallowed her food after the gentleman spoke and turns to Owen. "That sounds fun, you wanna participate?"

The sound of the bell was distant, but it was sudden for Owen. His face scrunched up in disgust - he hated such sudden sounds. He tried hard to keep his apparent anger from hearing it, inside. A man started talking soon after the tolls finished.
As the man finished speaking, Dezolina asked him to join in. Seeing no reason to decline, he nodded at her with a shrug, before going back to his food.

Owen looked at Dezolina as he kept eating. "You can sign up when I'm done." He stopped, speaking with a few fingers over his mouth to stop food from falling out. And then he swallowed. "When I'm done eating." He clarified. He continued to finish off his kebab in no time at all.

Dez signed them up and got a map. "Well the closest place would be the fountain or we can start at the end by the rose gardens. Which do you think?" She asks Owen holds up the map to him.

He thought about the options. He peered deeply into the map right next to his eyes. "Fountain." He finally said, pointing to it on the map when he saw it.

Dez nodded. "Fountain it is!" She rolls up the map and shoves it under her arms before starting towards the fountain that was just a little ways from the square. She pauses briefly to look behind her to Owen. "You coming?"

The map was removed so quickly, it took Owen a little moment to realise. He snapped out of his daze very soon and followed after Dezolina's voice.

Dez waited for Owen to catch up patiently. "Should be this way." She points in the direction of the fountain but she notices that her gloves have started to slip and she pulls them up. She didn't need her hands to be seen right now.
She walks with Owen to the fountain. "Let's look around!" She did notice however there were other people searching and a pretty good number too. She warned him...

He continues walking after her, looking around for the roses that everyone seemed to be searching for as well. How would they find anything here? "Do we look in the water?" he asked. There didn't seem to be anything but red roses there, but he thought he'd ask anyway.

Dezolina shrugs as she checks a rose bush. There were a lot of people in this area and they were laughing with joy.
Annoying...
"You can check there but it's a white Rose though with a ring on it I think..." Dez couldn't remember the rules exactly. "Hey go nuts though boss man!" She gives him a thumbs up after she brushes off her dress.
