Sienna nodded and visbly winced at Joakim's response. It wasn't that she couldn't she was just so used to putting others before herself. Shutting her DS she slid it into her pocket as she properly assessed the bag. She really wanted to try the bubblegum one but she was afraid of not only wasting it but now that it seemed he did indeed prefer that flavor made it harder to choose.
She managed to keep from looking up at him and finally decided on a beverage. Hesitantly she reached in, barely shuffling the bag as she delicately pulled the sweet tea out and then backed up, clutching the drink to her chest. Choosing a spot over his shoulder she nodded once and muttered a soft "Thank you." After that she silently returned to her former position behind them both. Now that a drink had been procured she now wished to find out the motives behind the mass of air fresheners.

With a fluid motion, he took the loops of the plastic bag in his hand to close its gaping mouth and shrugged, "You're welcome." Not that that really mattered from how quickly the dark-skinned girl retreated from him. He used to not mind people shrinking away from him the way she did, but after being an Apprentice for so long, he started wondering if he really didn't mind. Eh, that was a question for another day. Turning around, the viking pat Amsteria on the back lightly, " 'Kay, ready to go back and finally clear the air in the dorm." he said off-handedly before pulling out his chrysanthemum from his pocket.
As he and his teammate began plucking the petals off of their respective flowers, Joakim looked over to where Sienna was, "You'd better be headed back before your team starts worrying and looking for you." he said shortly as he threw the stalk of his flower beside him. It seemed to warp the air around it like it usually did, opening a tear in space that would no doubt lead him back to HQ. Amsteria's portal opened not far from his own, and with a 'hej hej' and a wave of his hand, Joakim stepped through the portal.
He found himself back at HQ, at the spot near the gardens where he and Amsteria first departed. He stretched a little, groaning at how dark it's gotten, "Ugh... Here's hoping there aren't any midnight reaps to do..." He really could use some sleep. The viking hadn't been sleeping well lately for whatever reason, and as he waited for Amsteria to appear, he pulled out his phone and checked for new messages or missed calls. No calls and a few messages. Hm. He'll deal with them later. For now, it was time to put their plan in motion.

The plan was simple, Amsteria deduced. It was to put the fresheners, 2 in possibly each bunk. It would be in those hard-to-reach corners, just so that the other two would not be able to poke it out so easily. Considering how tight some of those places were, like the back of their bunk drawers, or under or near the bunk mattresses, Amsteria was glad Joakim was in it with her. Some things were so heavy it was better to have someone of sufficient strength to pull it off. By the time the earlier of the two would come back from their job, the fresheners were already in place, and the room smelt of fragrances. The window was open to let air circulate, and the room fan dispersed and mixed the smells of berries, flowers and a sharp tinge of lemon. Upon observation, the smell of smoke reminiscent of Grim's cigarettes were neutralized already. The smell of coffee lingered, but it was now much less than what it had been originally. Amsteria settled in her bunk, watching the rest of the room below her grow pitch black. Joakim was down there, somewhere, or maybe had stepped out for something else. She wondered sometimes what their reaction would be to the smells, and hopes that it was not that strong. Coming down to switch the lights on and close the window, Amsteria glances again at the clock pendant she wore. Time was irrelevant now that things were done, but it was getting late enough for dinner. She puts her hands in her pockets and stepped out the dorm room to get some juice, and maybe find Joakim while she was at it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------[RP END]---------------------------------
