(( hi guys i'm not sure why the dice roll results changed overnight but i think it is because the default forum die is set to a 6-sided dice. but after someone used a d20 dice code, all those unspecified bbcode roll commands got auto-converted to a d20 dice instead /wheeze
for consistency's sake, let's stick to the original results XD
now, if you click on the dice icon on the right most of your toolbars, the dice that is rolled will be a 20-sided dice. alternatively you may key in the code [ roll ] without the spaces to generate a 20-sided dice now! e.g. XtOz5Qa9 no need to rely on honour system anymore! ^O^
also, should you return to edit your post, the result you rolled should not change! ^-^
i will give specific instructions on what code to use in future if we still need to roll for our events and results, so don't worry! feel free to PM me should you have any confusions/doubts to clear up! ))····

Thank the sugar-coated cotton candy deities of candy mountain that she managed to catch him just as his legs gave way.
"Duuuuuude, the fishcakes happened to you?!?!?!?"
Propping him up against the hedge for support, she began protesting noisily at him, clinging to the blood-soaked glove covering his pianist-like fingers and checking him all over for injuries other than the horrible gash on his thigh. So much blood… came the haunting thought as her amber eyes widened with clear concern, her hand reaching out towards the most obvious source of all the blood…only to be pushed away to make way for an affectionately tight embrace.
"…wha-?"
She shouldn't be the one being held so tightly -- she wasn't even the more injured one of the two. She winced just a teeny bit as his hand brushed against the wounds on her arms. They had stopped bleeding by now, but still twinged painfully when she wasn't careful with them. Still, these were mere paper cuts compared to the wound her precious friend had suffered to his leg…
"Doc…" she murmured against him, gripping him back tightly as her face scrunched up with worry. "We gotta get ya outta here…ya bleedin' bad…" Her face was pressed against the nape of his neck, neon-coloured band-aids and all. "I'll get ya outta 'ere… My legs are still good, I'll have ya outta 'ere in no time!"
Never mind if she had to leave…her (or whatever that was) behind back there in the centre of the maze. A possible illusion of false hope wasn't what was important right now. What was more important right now was getting the person before her back somewhere safe and patching him up before he lost any more blood...

Stanley refused to let go. Hearing her talk was so... so very therapeutic. He just wanted to close his eyes and hear her talk the night away. Someone familiar, someone he treasured. Right here with him. That was all he wanted at this very moment. "O...Out...?" he murmured, his voice growing weak. His wound was in horrible need of proper treatment in general, and he'd stubbornly stayed in place, clinging on to Zel like his life depended on it, "N..o... You're here..." he pulled away slightly, only to look down at the human in his arms with his hands gripping the back of her shirt tightly like he was afraid to let go. "Bl..e..ed?" he didn't seem to register this word, shaking his head, "No..." it seemed as if Stanley hasn't completely calmed down yet as he looked her up and down, fumbling as he hastily yanked his gloves off and traced her arms. Some of her bandages were gone. She always wore them and would ask him to help her re-dress them. Where old wounds were, he found a few shallow gashes and the sound he made sounded like he was going to get a heart attack, "B..l..eed..." he breathed, looking at Zel like he was going to cry again, "H-How??? Him???" he gripped her uninjured elbows, shaking her slightly as he hyperventilated, "He... hurt you...????" From how close they were, Zel could clearly see the panic in his eyes, the anger that welled up in them, dampened by disappointment that he couldn't do anything to stop it from happening. All of a sudden, the wide-eyed fear he showed her stilled, and his expression... softened? Zel knew him enough to be able to 'see' a smile behind his mask, how his cheekbones would rise, lifting his mask ever so slightly. Stanley chuckled, his shoulders shaking from the action and his grip tightening slightly on Zel's arms, "Okay... 's... okay..." he cooed, pulling her closer to him if that was possible, "Gone now..." the Hunter babbled on, "You... you know...??" he giggled, seeming to hang on to Zel so he wouldn't sink further into the hedge. "I killed him " It was the most concise sentence out of him yet, and Stanley looked thoroughly pleased with himself, so much so that he allowed himself a fit of laughter, tipping his head back against the foliage, "He hurt.... hurt you!!" a slight hiss was heard in between his giggling, "But I killed him... I killed him... It's okay..." his chest heaved for breath before Stanley gave Zel another once over, releasing one of her elbows so he could trace one long, slender finger gently over one of her wounds. "...Need... water..." he murmured softly, "Clean... clean... clean w-wound..." shifting his gaze once more into Zel's amber eyes, staring for a second before something hit him. "...Where... were you... going...? So far away..." he seemed to be curious as to why Zel was so far ahead of him, and wanted to know where she was headed, "Don't leave me..."

(Apologies for the dramatic suspension of the RP, my pc had an unintentional overnight stay with the pc guys last night but I am back now )----------------- The screeching of the metal had him grit his teeth hard together. Almost as hard as he parried her knife. Out of her grip he finally got around to register the people that had been behind him, Owen and some strange lady with what appeared to be a gun. Aimed in the general direction of... “MAXWELL!” BANG!mIX1JIfu + 4 = 23

Lenne definitely looked spooked. It didn't help that Maxwell appeared from nowhere and surprised them all. Owen couldn't adjust his gentle grip on the gun when she began to push it away. Some words came out of his mouth, but it very soon turned into a mild yelp in shock at the loud noise of the gunshot. He halted in his actions before jumping at her, anger written deeper on his face than any other emotion he presumably had that evening. He tackled her to the ground arm-first, pinning it down. She was pushed back first into the dirt and Owen grabbed her violently by the collar.
"I don't... like that sound..." he said, teeth grit and eyes shooting daggers back at her. "I toLD yOu, DON'T, SHOOT!" It escalated to a yell, and he pulled her closer to him and stared right back at her. Unlike before, his eyes seemed to be full of vigor and anger. "You don't know how to shoot tidy well..." He accused, having felt her hesitation earlier. "You don't know wHo yOU SHOT!"

DEX Roll for Little Girl: 5cWYiuxt + 5 DEX = 19
>> The Little Girl manages to avoid the shot, dive-rolling away the moment she heard the sound. She seems to be adept at getting away quickly. Since Lenne is in a panicked state, she did not fire any additional shots after firing the one at the girl and Walter, and the air is still for now.
WALTER, SIENNA & MAXWELL :
Walter manages to evade the gunshot, especially since Lenne wasn't specifically aiming for him. After all, it is the first time she has ever pointed a gun at mere children…or at least…people who look like mere children. The gunshot was also aimed clear of Maxwell, so he and Sienna are both safe as well.
However, as the little girl recovers from her dive-roll, her bright eyes are directed to the new appearance through the hedge. She blinks several times at suddenly-present Maxwell, staring wide-eyed at the bowler hat perched atop his head alongside his own hat. She freezes in place, unmoving and muscles all fully tensed up as her eyes are fixed solely on the bowler hat, as if it is the only thing that matters to her in this current situation...or more accurately, in this current world.
"...Bastian...?"
OWEN :
Panic had already overcome most of Lenne when she had fired the shot--as much as she knew that these people were the dead people that she would rather not be seeing, she still could not get over the imagery that she had just fired…at mere children. How could she? As much as she hated being Spiritually Aware, how did that give her a right to shoot at kids? Or at least…beings that looked like kids? How could she...?
Her complexion had grown pale white in the course of the shot, and she was trembling slightly from the revelation that "holy crap I actually pulled the trigger". She didn't even have the strength or focus to resist you when you pushed her, back-first, into the dirt, the violent landing on the hard ground jerking her out of her panic-stricken train of thoughts.
I don't like that sound either.
Her dark grey eyes are stunned at first when she stares back at your angry ones in shock, slowly drawing a conclusion as to what had happened, before they gradually grow sad and disappointed. It is evident that she feels betrayed, and she bites down on her lip to suppress tears from flowing out.
But I…I thought…I could trust you…
Over the course of journeying around with you in the maze, due to the nature of the circumstances you were both in, she had grown to trust you, albeit reluctantly, against all her pre-conceived instincts and thoughts about the threadless folks. But now as she lies there in the dirt, regret washes over her as you grip at her collar and yell into her face. Tears escape the corners of her eyes as she tries, and fails, to blink them away.
"I was wrong. You're jus' 'nother threadless. You're jus' 'nother…one o' them…"
She grips firmly onto her pistol, aiming at the area between your eyes, finger at the ready on the trigger.
She's no longer shaking.
"Get off of me."

Maxwell froze at the sound of gun fire, staring widely as quarreling children dodged bullets and Bird keepers pinned blue birds, whilst Poor Alice stood by dumbstruck as he. Yet the man chirped with a short laughter at the entire scene. "I seem to have missed QUITE the party. Hello Bunny! Alice! And friends-" The Rainbow hatter tucked away his dagger and tipped his top hat precariously from his head in greetings, None in the least bothered by the fact that...there was a gun in their midst's being pointed at one of his own. Not a big deal, right? This was a Tea party, after all..... All kinds of Mad things happened at Tea Parties.
As the little girl zoned in on him, Maxwell tipped his head with a curious smile. "....So it IS you! Your Majesty, Lady Queen of Hearts!" A giggle dripping from his tongue, the man stepped out from the hedge entirely, but never once released the handle of his dragged-along 'companion' as he bowed with a flourish to the young lady in frills and lace.
"Did I hear you say...you were lost? Blue birds and Rainbows--! If you're nice to my friends, I think I can help you. --though another finger on my Bunny and we may have a problem like that one over there." He grinned widely as he pointed to Owen and the lady bickering on the ground a few meters away, his expression only cheerful and warm. "They really are going at it, aren't they? It almost looks like fun!", He'd remark with laughter.

"Doc…DOC. STAN. Hakuna your tatas, I'm fine…" she began as she brought her hands up to his face as if to reassure him that she was there and she really fine, as she claimed to be. The panicked and pained expression in his eyes and the equally pained sounds he was making at her cut her deeper than any of those rose hedges she had run into, and she felt immensely guilty that she seemed to be the cause of this churning mixture of emotions…
But before she could continue protesting about how she hadn't actually been directly hurt by the Man in the Bowler Hat, Stanley had confessed, with unconcealed glee, that he had, indeed, already gotten rid of the said Man in the Bowler Hat.
She stared at him with an awed expression, mixed with shock, and a look of "HOLY CRUMPETS YOU WHAT?!", falling silent for a minute as she let him hold her without any resistance. Stanley would enjoy a rare silence from her as she blinked dazedly at him with her hands on his risen cheekbones, eyebrows raised and jaw dropping to reveal too-sharp canines amidst a set of white teeth.
It was only when he asked her for water that she was brought back to reality, alerted to the need for emergency treatment for her precious friend, as her long eyelashes fluttered in mild confusion. "Water…right. Right, we need to get you water…"
She felt her throat tightening at that point--she hadn't passed any clean water sources in the maze that she had explored, and it was far too risky to bring him around on a wild goose chase in the maze in his current state. Her best bet would be to retrace her steps, and come out the way she had come from, and THEN head to find water at the Visitor's Centre outside.
Lowering her voice so that she wouldn't be yelling at her usual volume, she gently patted his cheeks before rubbing his shoulders in reassurance. "Stan, I'm not goin' anywhere, I'm not leavin' ya. I'm gonna be right here with ya, aight? I'm like a leech, remember? I'm still stickin' to ya even if ya don't want me to," She reassured, flashing him a cheeky grin as if to substantiate that point of hers. "…but, we need ta get outta here. Both of us. Together…"
Taking a step back to evaluate his injury, she realised she needed to find a way to take some weight off that injured leg of his. While Apprentices might experience faster than normal recovery rates, this wound would definitely need some stitches before it could recover as quickly as it could. "Would ya…mind if I carried ya? Like…a piggy back. Ya not too heavy and my legs are good…" She pursed her lips at him, hands still on his shoulders as a look of urgency and worry crossed her face. "I don't want ya to walk with that-" she remarked defiantly, pointing at his leg whilst wincing a little from all the blood he had lost.
She sighed heavily, however, as she thought of how to reply his last question, resting her forehead on his heaving chest as she closed her eyes, as if what she had to say was something tiring and draining to recall. "It's a long story, Doc… I'll tell ya everythin' on the way out but…
…Fudgin' marshmallows first ya gotta tell me how ya managed to slay that beast!"

As defiant as Zel was, Stanley refused to let Zel carry his full weight, even if he wasn't too heavy for Zel to carry. Shaking his head with a small chant of "No no no..." under his breath, Stanley pulled Zel over, picked up his cane and got back on his feet with increasing difficulty before slinging one arm over her shoulders and leaning on her.
"Walk... like this." He could hang in there just a bit longer. They just needed to leave, somehow, "Together." he took a step forwards, urging Zel to do the same so she would argue less with him. It... felt so nice to be in her company again, "You'll... tell me where you were... and I'll tell you about the other Hunter." Oh good, he could english a little better, indicating that he was somewhat calmer.
Stanley let Zel lead the way, taking careful steps as they went along, "...I m..met an Apprentice. Said he... he was running from... something." He tried to recall as much detail as he could about the boy, but nothing much fell into place.
"Said... there'a Hunter here. Dangerous. Out for blood. I...I told him to go home, stay safe. Took a left turn." He paused to pant slightly, giggling as he recalled more of what he went through tonight, "Swish. Clink. Swish. Clink. Makes so much noise. Found him. Tall man... well-dressed... massive scythe... looks too much like... like that thing."the babbling Medic made no attempt to clarify what 'that thing' was before he took a few more deep breaths and continued.
"He was... killing people... because they can see him. Weirdo. And... and he had your hair in his hand, I... I-I don't... didn't know what to do. There was red. So much red. He said you were his. I f-found bandages," he grew a little more incoherent, but leaning on Zel helped him take a moment to collect his thoughts.
"I thought... I thought you were dead. I was so scared. So angry. I needed to kill him-I MUST kill him. Unforgivable, unforgivable." Stanley muttered to himself, hissing when he put too much weight on his leg, "He put up a good fight... but I killed him. I'm so happy now. So happy he's dead. So happy you're alive..."
His head felt lighter now and it was getting somewhat difficult to focus... He needed to hang on more. He wanted to hear Zel's story. He wanted to get out of here, "What's... what happened, Zel...? Why are you here...?"

As he leaned over her and looked into her face, the smell of gunpowder grew stronger and stronger. And her eyes grew more and more distant, until she seemed like a stranger again. Everything unravelled in a matter of moments.
In an instant, the gun was right in his face, and Owen was looking straight down the empty barrel. He didn't seem to flinch, as if he expected Lenne to turn the gun on him. His eyes died down to mild confusion. In a way he was disappointed with her pushing him away, but the more he looked at her eyes, her tears, the less he felt it.
Everyone leaves me. I don't think I expected you to stay, isn't it...
The more he looked into the barrel, the more his grip loosened. He wasn't usually this angry to jump into things, was he? His recent psych evals had been right, and thinking back on them, he had to reel himself back. He had been a mess lately. "Sorry, Lenne." Was all he said, voice monotone and perhaps sad, disappointed at the rage within himself, though one would not be able to tell. All hints of what he was feeling drained away from his features, and it was back to its usual stoic look, as if nothing had happened. Although he was unmoving, sitting there, staring down the barrel of the gun. She was unwavering now, but from before...
"I'm sorry I thought you were capable of hurting someone."

The gun went off.
And Sienna while not as angry about gunshots as Owen was she still was not a fan of the sound. Who would be when that had been one of the last sounds she'd heard before dying. She screamed and then froze, unmoving as the sound echoed, her hands shaking as she clamped them over her ears and she squeezed her eyes tightly. She was afraid to look and see if anyone had been shot. Eventually she opened her eyes, glancing around but still keeping her ears covered. No blood. well no new blood. So no one had been shot she presumed. The spectacle with Owen and the girl though brought a new batch of fears. But by the time she pulled her hands away he was sitting back and apologizing. So then it was okay? The danger was passed? They could continue?
Now only joining the conversation she was a bit lost but turned back to Maxwell and Walter. Her gaze fixed on the way her eccentric teammate was standing. Did he have something too big to drag through that hole? Walter looked shaken but unharmed. For the most part they were all fine except herself actually as she tried to dab at her worse wounds in vain. Really her pessimistic persuasion had assured this would turn out worse. A sigh escaped her as she relaxed somewhat, not entirely but a little. That small girl with the blade was still an issue. She didn't want her going for another round. But judging from her teammates position he wasn't letting that happen anytime soon.
"So... c-can we keep going? So we can leave?" She asked aloud looking to all parties involved. Now that the adrenaline rush had gone and everything had quieted down she could really feel her tussle with the hedge. She was really ready to go home but she also wanted to get to the end. A maze was a giant puzzle after all and despite everything that had happened she really wanted to beat the thing.

Having tossed himself in the opposite direction of the girl at the sound of the gunshot, rolling like a little ball of tumble weed down the path he came to a stop somewhere in front of the mad hatter. He attempted to get up, but his arms didn't seem to agree with him, shaking so much it was difficult to regain his balance properly. Sisi didn't appear to be much better off, even though she was sighing and...wait had that girl called Maxwell “Bastian?”
Sienna asked her question as he glanced over at the girl. The intense look she gave Maxwell had his little arms stop shaking. Darting up he ran into Maxwell, clinging to the colourful man he pointed an accusing finger at the lolita dress mess “She,” narrowing his eyes at her. “the fruitcake can leave.”

MAXWELL, SIENNA & WALTER :
The little girl raises her blade at Maxwell, its blade glinting sinisterly in the moonlight as her blue-grey eyes shift their focus, slowly but surely, from the Bowler Hat atop the Rainbow Biscuit’s head, to the dagger in one of his hands, to the huge, heavy-looking scythe. They finally fix on Maxwell’s face, hollow and empty.
“…where is he?”
Her tone is low, dangerous, and demanding. Her lips are pursed thinly, and a sinister, seething, livid aura is emanating from her petite body as she determinedly points her blade at Maxwell. “What are his things doing with you? How dare you take things that do not belong to you. How dare you. Where are your manners? Where is he? Why are his things with you? How dare. How. Where. Manners. Where is he?” She nashes her teeth at Maxwell, the sole focus of her wrath, as she babbles on in her girlish voice, sounding inquisitive and curious, yet concealing an inner building, burning fury within her words as they grow increasingly disjointed and staccato-ed.
“I left clues along the way. I swear. I swear I was almost out.”
You think that you see a red glow coming from her eyes. You must’ve imagined that…right?
“A̗̜̰̺͍͚̲̎͗N̩͈͍͙͚͓͐̓ͬ́ͅS͉̙̗̹̩̖̝ͥW͓E̷̫͙̗̰̪̍R͔͚̳͙̒̐ͥ̉͡ ̥͙̬͍ͥḾ̞E̢̯̖͌̌!̞̩͖̯ͧ́ͨ̒̅͞!̦̹͖̗!̠̜̘̻̱̖ͦ͌̋͂ͦ!̓͛ͮ͂”
The little girl rushes forward with inhuman speed, determined to slash at Maxwell to get a response out of him.

When Walter rushed over, Maxwell straightened himself and welcomed the ghost against his side. A happy chuckle in seeing the young Bunny pressed behind his smile. Though he tutted the little Bunny for his hasty tongue lashings against the girl. "She's only playing, Bunny. That's what girls do when they like you--" He chimed shortly with stiff smile. One that fix itself on the upset little girl as she prattled on and on. Her shiny knife pointed accusingly his way. Oopsies! It seemed she was quite attached to their dearly departed Mr. Bowler. And seem upset that he had them. How queer. Maxwell hadn't stolen them. He'd Won them! Found them. Same difference, right? Well now the child was just plain mad at him for whatever absurd reason, and that wasn't any fun. Little children shouldn't scowl at him ever. They should smile. Smile because he was Rainbow! The one and only! Before he could plead his case, with pretty words or sugary candy alike, the girl lunged. With a smile drawn tight, crazed and bemused against his laugh, Maxwell shoved Walter towards Sienna as he attempt to dip narrowly out of the way. Though his left hand refused to leave the handle of the scythe.... -- DEX w5SmkxTU + 6 = 8 (I'm not certain if I needed a second DEX for pushing Walter. If I do, I will amend my post for it. @__@;

Sienna didn't even get an answer to her question when the unhinged girl started acting in a threatening manner once more. She really didn't like the way things were going at all. Why couldn't everyone just keep their blades and hands to themselves? Mentally she shoved her complaints aside as the situation seemed to get worse. She was asking about someone. And since she'd been fixated on the bowler hat Maxwell was wearing she could only assume that the previous owner had been her friend. Or at least a companion. Judging from her rising intensity she had to assume the worst. And she'd nearly sliced open Walter for reasons she couldn't begin to imagine.
It had been silly to hope she wouldn't do so again. Asinine even and yet she'd been holding onto that hope as tightly as she could manage. But the moment the crazy girl darted forward with her blade raised she gasped and didn't get a chance to do much else as Walter was shoved her way. She caught him of course, and instinctively pulled him behind her and hoped Maxwell managed to evade that crazy girl.
