"Oh wow," Lincoln mutters under his breath as he walks quickly through the cafe's entrance, slipping past maids and waving 'no' to them as he points to his apron. The place was packed, and it was just ten minutes past the start of the lunch shift. Maybe it would have been better for him to enter from the back entrance...or came on time. However, having his face-painted that morning and donned with a freaky green wig and later washing it off with two glasses of tea was a combination that did not have a quick solution. It took the rest of the morning to clean his hair and face of any of the mishap's residue.
Grinning disarmingly at Fran, he picks up a tray from the counter and slips on the standard, white butler teacloth. People were coming in and the maids were flitting about, while butlers broodily watched from the sides in the hopes of finding a dame...maybe? He was not sure himself if the men were here for the dames. Maybe they were here for the hunks? Lincoln absentmindedly flipped the tray in his hands, tapping it against his vested torso. He was going to stand by the side and watch for a little bit, since people were being served and they were not really underhanded at the moment.
He wondered if his fellow prankster was taking any shifts...and if the last dame they pranked was still here doing her shifts. His hands stopped flipping the tray and a small feeling of dread welled up in his chest. Well.
He better be ready to talk himself to the opera today.

It was getting busier in the cafe and Joakim could only imagine how much busier the kitchen staff were. He'd taken yet another set of orders from another two tables, maneuvering around the crowded tables as best as he could without knocking anyone out of their seats. Geez, he hadn't counted on the cafe being this big of a hit. He'd left the games to the other butlers and maids (he didn't really have the patience for them now that the day was getting hotter. Joakim isn't a big fan of hot weather.) and as a few more tables flagged him down, Joakim raised a hand to tell them he'll be with them shortly. He just needed to pass these orders over to someone...
Lo and behold, in the crowd, he spotted a brightly-colored head of hair. Well, it was kind of a mohawk, but there wasn't really any time to question someone's hairdo. What's important was that the guy was a fellow butler (judging from his uniform) and Joakim walked briskly towards him, "Hey you," he called, and as soon as the distance between them was close enough, he placed the slip of paper where he wrote down the orders and table numbers on the tray he was flipping, indirectly pressing it against Lincoln's chest, "Do me a favor and get these orders delivered, will you?" without waiting for a response, Joakim clapped a hand on Lincoln's back in an amiable gesture, with more force than he probably intended to, "Thanks, man."
With that, Joakim turned around and walked away to attend to the tables who were waiting to be served. Just a few more hours and his shift would be over...

[This hour wasn't unusual for Salvia to begin her day. As a matter of fact, having brunch every other day wasn't alien to her at all. Without hesitance, the Apprentice swung open the door to this weird little cafe, listening to the tinkle of the bells as she stepped in.]
[Though they promised each other to attend the fair together, Team PriSSSM at the moment was scattered. Surya's schedule was stuffed with reapings, while Maxwell seemed to have his hands full with mapping out the recently discovered areas of the HQ. Apparently Sienna was working two shifts at the cafe, but knowing her enough, the shy girl would be adamantly embarrassed if one of her teammates witnessed her in the maid uniform. Because WOW they looked super embarrassing. Whose messed up idea was this? So Salvia thought to save Sienna the trouble and dropped by during a shift she wasn't attending to. Which was perfect, because this was pretty much her breakfast for the day. She heard the fries were pretty damn good.]
[So. Does she wait to be seated, or does she pick her own seat like the adult she was supposed to be? And like the adult she wasn't, she spotted a vaguely familiar redhead set upon an imposingly huge body. Shit, is that Colossal Titan? She grinned, remembering their bizarre encounter, and whistled out to him.]
"Hey!" [she called out, then quickly looked around for Fran, because if that vampire hears the nickname she knew Joakim by, he'd also adapt it and it wouldn't be fun to call him that anymore.] "Yogi Bear! Wassup?"

[@stuffed-peppers | Salvia ]
He'd just tended to another table when he heard someone whistle, followed by a name he wasn't familiar with. Coming from a familiar person. He squinted at the female Apprentice with what looked like a disapproving look, but at the same time, Joakim appears to be on his best behavior because... well. He told himself he'd help out at the Frantasia. And that meant no starting fights.
Striding over to Salvia, Joakim scanned the area for any free tables. There were one or two, but Salvia'd be out of luck of she was here with friends, "Velkommen," he greeted (as he was required to do), "Didn't think cafes were your kind of place," the viking said with a small smirk, "Anyway, table for one?" he'll let the 'yogi bear'name slip this once. He was busy and this really wasn't the best time to settle this, "We're pretty full if you're here with a gang of friends."

Grim entered the cafe through the back entrance. That was the smartest move he had made all morning, and mind you, he had a very eventful morning. And yet, here he was, back to help out. Without the need to squeeze with the customers and general passer bys, he was able to catch his breath behind the kitchen. His hair was still wet from the wash up after the tea drenching he had to endure. The price he had to pay for pranking, but he found it far too good of an opportunity to pass. On the plus side, he wasn't the only one.
Adjusting the black bowtie on his collar, the young man grinned at the glaring from the kitchen staff when he scurried through to get to the frontlines. He was fairly certain that Amsteria wasn't taking the lunch shift (thankfully!). Slipping on his vest and apron hastily, he took off his glasses as a final touch before he deemed himself alright for presentation. "Showtime~" The german muttered before making his entrance at the dining area.
It wasn't a particularly small area, but it was certainly cramped with customers. Grim took a sharp inhale before glancing around at the blurry figures zooming past him. Guess he had better stick to delivering the items to the customers. Turning towards the kitchen, he was promptly shoved with two slices of crepe cakes for table 18.
Straightening his posture, the medic gulped before heading towards any general cleared path. The problem remains: He couldn't tell the numbers and he was just diving head first via trial and error of table numbers. "Table 3... 6... 10..." The poor butler mumbled as he travelled from table to table, trying to identify the designated customer. He would've asked the other butlers and maids... if he could recognise them amongst the customers that is.

[ JayThorne | Joakim ] "They're not," [Salvia shrugged.] "But I was told the fries here were good. What do you recommend, chief? Oh yeah, table for one, please." [She held up a finger to supplement the number while scanning the giant's getup.] "Didn't think you were the type to willingly dress up so . . . posh."

He scoffed at Salvia's comment on his outfit, "Trust me, if I had any say about the outfits this place would look like it was run by norsemen back in the 10th century." Joakim motioned for Salvia to follow him, leading her to one of the free tables.
He pulled the seat out (like Fran drilled him to do) for the radio hostess to sit and placed the menu on the table for her to look through, "The fries are a pretty big hit, yeah. The curry rice and the croissant sandwiches are pretty popular too. Trying out everything on the menu is a thing too, though." Joakim grinned at her, amused at the imagery of Salvia ordering everything on the menu.
"Are you ready to order or are you just gonna order a drink first?" out of the corner of his eyes, Joakim was glad that the other tables weren't harping for attention as much as it did a while ago. At least people were tucking into their food and drinks and chatting with each other.

Lincoln lifts the tray, keeping it slightly above his ear to avoid the heads of the many patrons and passing staff. He wasn't exactly amused that a man came and just slipped a paper on him, but he was, after all, at work. He had experiences waiting on people, but they kept pointing his hair out that he just quit and did more carefree jobs. Looking back at the order, it seemed that he needed to find tables 10 and 14.
Peering over the heads of the patrons already seated, he spots the numbers, in flowery writing, peeking up from the flowers. So that's where the numbers are, he mused. Peeking at the numbers, he soon finds the tables he needed and served them. With that done, he wanders around, making himself available for the people seated. He'd rather not...have Joakim give him orders right now. After some casual scanning, Lincoln spots a familiar blonde looking over the tables himself. Minus the blue facepaint and equally blue wig he had donned earlier in the day, Lincoln could see that he was...a pretty unsuspecting kid.
Lincoln waved at him as Grim looked up.

[ highrise | Lincoln] Was that a customer or a fellow colleague? The young man took a step to the side before squinting at the man who was waving. Regardless, the man was still requiring his assistance. Holding the tray of desserts above his head, Grim jostled through the busiest junction to get to Lincoln via the shortest route. "Scheiße!" As he was reaching, the medic made a sharp twirl and kept balance from the hastily leaving customers that he had failed to notice. Close call, good save, the tensed german thought and mentally calmed himself. Glancing up, he paused for a moment as he analysed the man before him. Green mohawk, with those shifty brown eyes. Oh, he'd recognise him anywhere. "You're... that man who tried to steal my donut!" He frowned before pointing an accusing finger at Lincoln. But it wasn't the right time to interrogate the other... and it wasn't favourable to flip out at this point. Work, work, Grim chanted internally. Huffing, the smaller man pouted a little before continuing, " Egal, do you know where is table 18?" It didn't occur to the blonde that just perhaps, Lincoln had identify him for an entirely different purpose. Egal express "who cares" or "whatever."

[MIRG | Grim ]
Ah...that brought back a memory that Lincoln would rather forget. It was so embarrassing, and he was feeling the heat of second-hand embarrassment. He waved it aside and grinned at the blonde instead. "I'm...uh, flattered you remember me that way," he replied, emphasising on the oddball memory, "I thought you'd remember me as the man who pranked with you," Lincoln continued, lowering his voice slightly as he finished his sentence. Customers didn't need to know his dark secrets of pranksterhood.
However, seeing as Grim was in need of numerical assistance, Lincoln straightened up and looked over the tables like a meercat on guard. Five tables to the right and a table up, he could faintly see the number that the blonde was looking for. Whistling lightly, Lincoln pointed Grim in that direction, "there it is."
As Grim wandered off to handle the order at hand, Lincoln goes off to tend to customers yet to be attended to. For a while, he proceeded to venture back and forth between the counter and the tables, receiving and responding to orders.

Sienna was on her break but had decided to just stay in her uniform since she'd also agreed to work during high tea as well only she'd left the head scarf and the apron off and in the back of the small cafe. At the moment she wasn't particularly hungry so a drink would do just fine. Besides who knew if she'd have a chance to just relax after everything was over anyhow? Not that these large functions ever ended on a happy note. Walking into the seating area she halted. It looked fairly busy and it was lunch time after all. Scanning the tables she spotted Salvia who other than her server looked alone.
She lifted her had and waved a bit form where she stood, hoping she'd see her. If not well she'd be fine just walking over. But then what if she'd planned to come with some other people? Wouldn't it be rude to just assume she was actually invited to join?
Maybe it would be best if she just allowed herself to be seated rather then forcing her way into a situation that she wasn't wanted in. Hands clasped in front of her she stood there at the entrance and tried not to look as uncomfortable as she felt. However it would seem her attire was giving her strange looks as some of the eating customers tried to flag her down for something they needed. Never able to say no to such a thing she looked troubled for a moment, fidgeted and then walked over to clear their table of the plates they no longer wanted and were in the way. She was so hopeless...

[ JayThorne | Joakim] [Salvia followed Joakim to her table and sat down on it, somewhat surprised and unsettled by the staged hospitality of the giant. But she didn't comment about it. Friendly servitude was part of the cafe's theme after all. She sat down and picked up the menu as soon as it was given to her. Damn, everything looks good.] "I'll take a water first. Gimme a second to look this over." [From behind the menu, Salvia too scanned around the cafe should there be anyone else familiar. She wouldn't mind saying hi to Frandma, though at the same time, she kind of would mind. She hadn't noticed Sienna at all though. In fact, she's never seen Sienna in a maid costume, so no instant recognition there.] (ooc: sorry Sisi;; )

"Take your time,"Joakim pocketed his notepad, deciding he didn't need it just yet as he walked off to fetch the requested glass of water. A few of the patrons seemed to have the same idea, or at least ordered some form of drink, so the redhead poured a few glasses of water, dropped the orders off to the barista(Fran didn't have enough time to teach him how to make non-alcoholic drinks...) and loaded them on his tray before delivering them to their respective tables.
He dropped Salvia's glass of water off at her table, holding the now empty tray by the edges as it rested on the inside of his arm, "Decided on anything yet?" he asked, moving slightly to let another butler walk past him.

[ JayThorne | Joakim (sorry for the delay!)] [Salvia thanked Joakim for the water and spoke after she took a sip.] "Yep, ready. Can I get the truffle fries with barbeque sauce and ketchup? Hmm, I'll also take a chai tea, too." [She rested the menu on the table and felt like a bit of small talk.] "You gone around the fair yet?"
