[This is a haunted house rp that's semiprivate~ If you'd like to take part, feel free to pm me! ]
Lorelei had to admit, ghost stories were always her favorite. She remembered sitting around the older members of the troupe, listening to them spin tales of horror and mystery in the dead of the night. She liked the way they made her heart pound, like the adrenaline rush of fear and excitement. So much so that she was known to take some of the other young troupe members on "ghost walks" through the closest graveyard. It was no surprise then, that the clown wanted to take her new collective "family" on one of these adventures.
As far as haunted houses went, this one seemed pretty typical. According to the website, it was an hour long "journey through the bowls of hell, meeting the tortured souls of those trapped there" followed by a description that wasn't for the faint of heart. All of which, pegged this as the perfect place to take her new friends and anyone else who Lorelei could convince to come along with her cheerful smile. To anyone that knew her, the permanent smile on Lorelei's face would seem entirely devious, but Lorelei hoped the group didn't know her quite that well yet...she really didn't know that much about them either.
Dressed in a far more practical pair of flat shoes, the girl's usual dress was replaced with a ruffled blouse and a pair of pumpkin pants while her long black hair was braided and topped with a felt hat. Tapping a finger beside her broad smile, Lorelei giggled as she gestured to the large building that seemed more like an abandoned shopping mall than a haunted house. "Here we aaaare dearies~!" She sang, stretching out her arms with a presenter's flourish. Wrapping the arm around her waist, she took a deep bow, almost loosing her hat in the process, before she came back up with a proper devilish grin. "Come with me, my darling children. Let us find the true horrors that await us beyond those..." She stopped, glancing back at the clear glass door. With a disappointed sigh she folded her arms. "...those extremely boring doors. I hope it's more interesting inside..." Lorelei hummed, clearly more excited than apprehensive.

Marion was... Nervous. It was a new feeling to the upbeat girl, who usually took things with a grain of salt. Perhaps acting before thinking wasn't always a good strategy, but to this point it had at least gotten her through life- And death- without really having to face too much of this fear stuff. Finally faced with an opportunity where second-guessing was the only real option, she was finally getting a taste of this common emotion. And she didn't quite like it.
As they approached the dilapidated building, Marion took to tugging at her dress. Someone had requested that she skip the sparkles in exchange for something less... Attention grabbing. Although she had argued considerably, somehow she ended up being forced into some green sundress that felt much too... Strange against her skin. This was so light and airy. How could anyone concentrate when it felt like they had nothing on? She missed the weight of her sequins.
The fashion crisis didn't help much. They kept approaching the building, she kept actually thinking about what was ahead, and the fear only rose more. She tried to force a smile as she replied to Lorelei, "You know, I've heard this things are all shams. I mean, it's just actors anyways. Whats there to be afraid of?" She laughed, a sound that sounded too high pitched even to her ears, "Maybe the whole place is going to be like these doors. Ordinary and... Rundown."

Shiroki followed very close behind everyone. Everything he seemed to do with his new friends seemed to be something he'd never done before, or even heard of. He didn't understand the appeal of a "Haunted House", but Lorelei seemed excited, and Marion was laughing as well- so it must be something enjoyable, right? Absolutely.
As they approached the attraction though, he felt nervousness lump up in his throat. This didn't look how he pictured it..? It looked almost abandoned. He didn't quite understand why Lorelei thought they were boring though. At least it was slightly more welcoming, for now. The word horror didn't sound to inviting to him prior. He clutched at a newly acquired plain black sweater to replace his usual homey clothes, since they were slightly more formal and harder to move around in, or just be comfortable in general. With a nervously quiet chuckle he leaned in to hear them a bit better. "A-actors? That doesn't sound too scary, aha.." Shiroki's breath caught in his throat on the word scary, but kept up a determinedly neutral expression.

One could say that Yue was excited, not that it was noticeable right away, the unassuming girl always had this soft quiet expression on her face by. But if one knew her well enough they would see by the way she tapped her shoes together frequently, the way she looked every where, and snapped picture of the littlest thing on, they would know that Yue was absolutely elated to be there. Growing up with little to no money repeatedly gave her no freedom to spend money on unnecessary entertainment, by the time her family had came into money she felt to detached, to grown up for childish fun anymore. Now Yue was dead and she honestly didn't care anymore so the only plans she had was to the time of her life...er death.
She twisted her body slightly this way and that making the raggedy end of her white skirt swish around, keeping with the white theme she had on a white hoodie that had small horrified ghost painted all over including the hood itself in front making Yue looked like a little ghost herself.
"I hope I get to see someone pee their pants," she eyed Shiroki and Marion who be the most likely suspects,"Hey Lorelei do you think they would let us stop in the middle and let us play with this," from her tombstone shaped bag she pulled out a ominous ouija board halfway out before slipping it back in "i mean I really don't care if they wouldn't let us either way, I want to see if this haunted house is really haunted."

Adjusting her hat and pulling her braid forward to hang over her chest, Lorelei glanced over her little group. Was that fear she felt in the air? Someone was nervous, and that excited Lorelei even more. Not that she really wanted to scare anyone too bad, these things were only really fun when someone was screaming at the top of their lungs. Catching sight of Yue taking pictures, Lorelei pulled out her phone quickly, holding up a peace sign to take a selfie as fast as she could, hoping no one would have time to hide. "Before shot~" she giggled, tucking her phone back away as she tapped her cheeks. "Actors yes, and they technically aren't allowed to touch you unless you sign a waver." She said, looking rather disappointed by the suggestion. "Which is fine I guess, I would hate to have to punch someone out for messing up my clothes." she laughed, but there was something about Lorelei's expression that made it obvious that she wasn't kidding.
Then, Yue pulled out the ouiji board and Lorelei cooed with delight. She didn't expect to see one of those ever again. She found one in a trash can once and brought it back home with her. She had teased some of the more gullible members by moving the pointer herself, but that was back when she didn't know an inbetween world was real. Now, maybe they could actually channel some real spirits and communicate with something else beyond themselves. That thought was enough to earn a squeal. "Even if they don't let us, we'll have to bring it back and play with it at HQ. I wonder if there's anything sneaking around in there. Maybe a disgruntled apprentice that got trapped?" Then, she paused, thinking for a moment before giggling. "...Naaah I think we've probably met most of them."
Laughing a bit harder, Lorelei turned back tot he doors of the haunted house, pressing her hands hard against them to push them both open at the same time. Of course, that only works well in the movies and Lorelei simply opened one while she clumsily struggled with the other. Brushing it off when they stepped into the dim lit room, Lorelei studied the dark painted walls curiously. Whoever designed this place did a great job. The small entrance was designed to look like a run down home, the low ceilings stiffing as a smoke machine from somewhere poured a steady supply of smoke onto the floor. It was oddly quiet, a strange quiet like no sound could actually permeate the room, all making it uncomfortable to even remain. The room was bare entirely, save for a single, wooden door, ragged and old on top of the worn linoleum floor.
Slipping behind her little group, Lorelei ushered them towards the door. "Only one way to go~" she giggled.

Hearing the excitement in a few of her fellow apprentices voices, Marion grew a little defensive. Why were they okay with it when she was so nervous? Shouldn't they be at least a little terrified? "Right, and they can't touch us," Marion repeated, more to herself than anyone else, "This will be fun."
When Yue pulled out the ouji board, Marion stated at it curiously. She'd only ever heard of them in passing, certainly never tried one out, "Going through the haunted house, don't we technically MAKE it haunted?" She joked, as she watched Loreli prepare to open the door, "Us being dead and all that?"
Then Lorelei opened the doors and Marion fell very, VERY silent. When an initial jumspcare didn't pop out, she leaned forward to squint into the shadowy building. Darkness, eerie silence, and a slow moving fog turning every corner into something treacherous. Great. She couldn't wait, really.
