[Note: This group rp consists of about 6 characters going to an aquarium. We're kind of vaguely capping it here, but we don't want to shut out other people--if anyone else wants in, send me a PM, and we'll probably happily drag your character along!]
Citlalicue was, as usual, vivid, both in terms of her wardrobe and her expression. She trotted in front of the group and swung around to face them, skirt twirling outward as she did so. It was only fitting that she'd worn a bright blue dress, like water shimmering under sunlight, and that she was dotted with gold and turquoise jewelry. She was as bright as the fish they were about to witness, and she was thrilled about it.
"I haven't been to an aquarium in ages," she enthused, speaking to none in the group in particular. "This is going to be wonderful."
She'd met a few in the group vaguely before--she was eager to get to know them further. The best part about HQ wasn't the job itself--it was the faces, the people, the lives they lived. Being an apprentice was a little like being in an aquarium. She watched humanity separated by glass, able to see and admire without really experiencing. But the others with her--they were opportunities to experience and learn more fully. She flashed a brilliant smile at them all and twirled again to face forward, rejoining them as they moved through the entrance.
"Most of the fish that we had in our lakes--like Lake Texcoco--are extinct now. It's a shame--some of them were really beautiful. But we didn't have things like otters! We must go see the otters. They're my favorite--absolute darlings." Her words came fast and enthusiastic, chatting still to the group in general, and she grabbed a pamphlet from the desk before moving on into the main lobby, eyes bright and anticipatory.

Over to the side of the main group, Rayen's attention meandered towards a particular group of brightly colored fish. Bright and vivid were their colors, dancing together as they swam underneath the translucient blue light. Her normally huge eyes grew twice their size, enamored by the tranquil beauty that was shown before her. It had been many years since she last went to one, let alone be allowed inside without the threat of marches and brutality right outside the door. It always amused and wondered her how peaceful the world came to be in the later years, that it made her smile widely. Her attention wavered between them and Citlal at the front, the pink-haired woman's voice barely registering into her thoughts.
Rayen only captured the last part of the sentence, something about otters, before turning away from the glass. She hadn't noticed how close she was to the glass until she had moved, the small pain to her nose giving away that she had pressed her entire face trying to watch the fish swim.
"Otters sound lovely," came her reply, muffled by the way her hand began to rube her nose away from the stinging pain. "Hopefully we'll get to see the dolphins too, maybe?"

Contrary to Lorelei's usual excited attitude, the girl was oddly quiet. Small fish, like the ones that swam in Yue's bowl, were one thing. But big fish? That was something entirely different. Dressed in a much simpler red sun dress, Lorelei stayed close to the group and as far away from any fishtanks as she could get. How did anyone thing these things were cute? They had such big eyes and such weird mouths, always staring and doing...things... Lorelei didn't trust them. There was something shifty and creepy about these odd creatures. But, the aquarium promised there were other things besides fish there, so Lorelei couldn't resist coming along.
Besides, Lorelei couldn't resist a chance to meet more of her apprentice friends. Especially the ones who dressed so nice. She had to admit, there were plenty of people in HQ who dressed nice all the time and Lorelei wanted so much to be their friends. With her hands tucked behind her back so she wouldn't tug at her dress, she kept the happy smile plastered on her lips as she listened to what the others were excited about. Nodding along, she laughed. "Perhaps...penguins would be nice?" She said. Really....why couldn't they just go to the zoo?

Yue was constantly rocking on her heels ever since they went into the aquarium, her expression was neutral so one could mistake it as built up excitement to come. She always felt a pit of unease in her stomach around fish, not like she would say anything to spoil the others mood, something always held her tongue when she felt like complaining about the unease. Besides Lorelei was her and hanging around with her usually proved to be a fun time. Yue was dressed in a sax blue dress layered with white and golds, she felt sick but that was not going to damper her style.
"I want to see the sharks." Yue commented quietly behind Lorelei, the smaller girl was holding onto a small cloth of her dress finding comfort in someone she knew more so.

Aquariums were an oddity to Winona. She didn't find a lot of appeal to being inside a giant, potentially smelly fishtank. Granted, jellyfish were definitely the berries, especially moon jellyfish. But, even being dead, the chance that one of those giant tanks breaking and drowning everyone gave her the heebie jeebies. Still, any chance to escape the prison of HQ was a good one. Wearing a moss green ensemble with a lovely cloche hat, she stood somewhat to the outside of the group; willing to socialize, but not wanting to be trapped.
Listening to the dolls speak in turn, she had no real objections to their suggestions--until the penguins. Those nasty little creatures reaked! "Otters sound the cat's pajamas, but I'd also like to see the jellies." She said politely. She wanted to be civil and not object the penguin idea head on. The girl seemed nice enough. For a...white person.
Her eyes scanned the assortment of people around her. Pink hair, big hair, fishbowls and more. This was a...unique bunch. She absentmindedly hummed as she waited to follow the group.

If Alessio was to be perfectly honest, he had no clue what the difference was between an aquarium and seaquarium was. He had heard of both, and both referred to water, which had fish...right? So honestly, he expected fish. Big ones, small ones. Anything else would be deemed slightly surprising.
He glanced around, his lips curling into a smile as he spied the gift shop. Fish themed it was, of course. It's shelves were overrun with stuffed animals, and racks upon racks with fish pun graphic t's. His smile widen when he glanced at all the trinkets. Octopus hat-rack, jellyfish pencil holders, oh and that was just what he could see from a distance. It was amazing. Already he could imagine himself with some god awful t'shirt that didn't quite fit or was little short. He could already imagine a bag of stuffed animals, that while weren't well made, were just adorable. He hadn't a clue why he loved tacky gift items so much, oh but he did.
As the group entered the main lobby, and the gift shop was out of sight, he finally snapped out of it.
He glanced at his fellow apprentices, then back at the wall that separated him and the gift-shop. No. He shouldn't. Well, not now at least. Later. When the time is right. He didn't quite wanna be carrying a few dozen bags of stuffed animals through the exhibit.
He noticed the other apprentices where chatting, well, not really. They were stating what they wanted to see. Hmm.
"Octopus seem cool. I want to see those."
