The entertainer's room is not so much of a room as it is a giant theater and playhouse. The front is large and grand, its architecture externally and internally distinctly art deco. It is meant to seat hundreds with rows upon rows of seats that rise up, circling a large stage with deep red curtains. Embroidered upon them are a intricate moon and sun design, done in metallic gold thread. The design shimmers fiercely when the curtain rises, as if they were the genuine article. This is just the front tho. Backstage is not as grand. Backstage is accessible thorough a little door off to the side of the stage. The hallway walls are bare save for the props and painted scenery leaning on them (a direct contrast to the colorful cravings of the rest of the theater). Exposed pipes and electrical wiring filled the ceiling; they have all been stuffed here, hidden from guests. I wouldn't say that the backstage is shit but....it is definitely more unitary than outside. At least still, however, a gold star hang on every dressing room. Is your name on one of them? Your fellow entertainers as of 2/25 are:
