Some Library in NY Mikhail spent most of his time after school at the library. There wasn't anyone at home at this time of day, and his family didn't own a computer, either. This library was his favorite hangout, where he could use the internet to his heart's desire and prowl on his favorite little "sewing" website to his heart's content.
...well, except for today. This entire week, actually. Mikhail was banned from using the internet for a while. Who would have thought the librarians wouldn't approve of someone using their computers to look at pictures of autopsies? He had to post something on his mortician appreciation blog! They even had to call his mom and everything. Even though his mother had convinced the librarians that he was perfectly safe and not a danger to anyone, they still refused him internet access for the week.
Well, whatever the reason, Mikhail was banned from using the library computers so he was forced to actually read in the library. Or at least look at magazines, which was what he was doing right now. With an entire board room table to himself, Mikhail had taken every back issue of Cat Fancy and had them scattered about so he could look at each and every cat in its beauty.
"Ohh...a Persian...so cute...!" he whispered to himself, running his fingers over the picture of a cat. A tear came to his eye as he mourned and moped quietly. He wanted a cat so badly! Too bad he was deathly allergic as well as incredibly asthmatic. "If you were mine...I would...I would name you Garfield..."

I..I don't know what to do now...Leno was stationed at a table on a computer, squinting her eyes at her post. A user wanted to know what books to recommend. She liked to read from time to time. Something concrete she had on the time period and wanted to be more social in this new world but computers...were never her thing. She often rely on Wes or Markus help her but she... She was born from a time where such things did not exist. She felt like an uneducated child. What now..? A... That's all she wrote. A single letter was accidentally posted under Book Recommendations. This contraption button was besides the post. Oh! Maybe I can delete with this. ...There was no delete button... Huh??? Her mind was panicking. She began to type random keys and clicked buttons on ThreadCutters Forums.

While Mikhail fawned over the pictures, Joakim had taken to going to the library mainly because his dorm stank of very strongly-brewed coffee thanks to his new teammate and he could use a quiet spot without such a stench. Ugh. How the hell do people stand that kind of stink, anyway.
He passed by the blonde young man, picked up some random mythology book (that he at least had SOME interest in) and sat down a seat away from the mumbling, and possibly crying human. He could've sworn he heard the kid mumble something about calling it Garfield--
Craning his neck slightly, the viking peeked at what the human may be reading, spotted the picture Mikhail was stroking (rather lovingly) and scoffed to himself, "Can't beat forest cats..." before opening the book he'd picked out earlier, propping his elbow up on the table, resting his chin in his palm and pretending to read.
Geez Joakim, could've tried to nap someplace else--

There were a lot of places Sienna enjoyed visiting when she was done with her work load or just wanted a break. And the library was one of those. They were massive vaults of endless knowledge and now one could find all that information on a simple computer nowadays. It was all very fascinating and had been interesting to watch it progress. But she was a bit old fashioned and enjoyed reading actual books. The feeling of pages held between her fingers and that lovely musty scent that older tomes held. Making her way through the aisles she was trying to decide what to check out for the next week or so.
She'd decided on a some a fictional book about dragons and society. She wasn't usually steeped in that sort of thing but she did like a good story. And she'd heard this one was pretty interesting. With her book in tow she meandered over to the magazines to look and see if any new ones had arrived with flamingos on them but alas, it wasn't meant to be today. Eventually she came out to find a few people around. Most notably that boy she'd run into... and the imposing ax-man. She hesitated a bit before deciding it was safe. Neither Kemta or that other man were here after all...

Leno stared the forum for a good several minutes. A mess of stuff she expeccted. Posting a image of puppy. A weird squabble and a bunch of letters that looked like gibberish. Should I ask anyone..? She looked around the area. She began to lock the computer. The blue-haired woman started to stand from her seat. Very people few seemed to come the library today. She spotted a girl reading in the fantasy section. Leno was indecisive on whether or not to approach her. She didn't like getting help with what seemed to another person, a trivial task. She paused a bit after taking few steps. "Um.." She muttered in a low voice, pointed her index finger. "...Excuse...me."

"Forest cats? Maybe..." Mikhail said absentmindedly, still stroking his fingers over the cat picture, as if the page would sprout fur if he kept petting it. He glanced over to Joakim for a moment, then had to do a double take. His eyes crossed as he looked over the huge Viking of a man, his breathing getting heavier. "No...no thread of fate!" he whispered, scootching his chair closer to Joakim, his eyes huge. His hands were clasped beneath his chin as he stared at Joakim unabashedly, his breath hard and wheezy. "Sir! You're...you're one of the angels!"

The sound of the nearby chair moving made Joakim open his eyes slightly, letting out a low groan as he pushed his head upright slightly to look at Mikhail through his bangs.
"Angel...?" the viking murmured, sounding thoroughly confused. He looked around him, half-expecting to see Valkyries looming over him and was mildly disappointed when he saw none. He gave the human a look, narrowing his eyes at the space over the excited young man's head.
Huh. White.
He didn't seem threatening, except maybe for the fact that the human was looking at him as if he was some huge, fluffy animal he wanted to take home, and Joakim frowned slightly. Reaching out, he flicked Mikhail's forehead lightly, as if to make him pay attention to what he was going to say.
"Oi, let's get two things straight. One, I'm no angel. Two, shit boy, your lungs aren't supposed to make you sound like a squeaky toy. Breathe properly." Well, on the flip side, if the young man had a severe enough asthma attack or something, his thread would turn red... Not that he was waiting for that to happen.

Someone speaking nearby made Sienna turn slightly to find the course and was surprised to find someone pointing at her. Oh it was her that was being spoken to. Clutching her book to herself loosely she managed a small smile. "Ah uh hello..." She greeted hesitantly. "C-can.. do you n-need help?" She asked facing her completely now. She could hear the other two talking and it seemed that human boy was still acting quite irresponsibly. There was only so much one could do though and so she directed her focus back to the girl wishing to speak to her about something.

Mikhail squeaked, wheezing more when Joakim flicked him in the eye. "Oh, that hurt!" he said as though he was commenting on the weather, not sounding particularly upset. He stared unblinkingly at Joakim with awe. "You can physically touch me! How...that's so wonderful!" He reached out without permission to touch Joakim's arm, his hand trembling. "Wow! Wow, I can't believe..." He stood up out of his chair; he was scarcely taller than Joakim when the man was sitting down. Mikhail moved around to touch as much of the viking as much as he could, skittering his clammy hands over his shoulders and on his head. "If you're not an angel...where's your thread?" he said eagerly. "You smell like...you smell like...them...you're an angel! A threadcutter!"

The knight was listening a bit. Threadcutter...? An apprentice. Great. It's fine, as long as she kept herself without their way and acting natural she would be fine.
"Oh, well um" Leno rubbed the back of her head and her eyes looked off to another place. "You see..." she began to explain her inquiry. Okay, woman breathe..."I'm very old-fashioned, and I do not..use computers that often." she pointed at her spot. "I was hoping you could help with this, what do you call it? A forum?" She smiled sheepishly at her. Hopefully this girl would have a heart to understand.

The touching was already setting off Joakim's mental alarms. What was he, some kind of display for people to touch? Of all the SA humans he's encountered so far, this was definitely one of the strangest he's seen. Snarling, Joakim swatted Mikhail's hands off of him. Against his better judgment, he reached out, grabbed the front of the mortal's shirt and rose from his seat, lifting the mortal a few good inches off the ground,
"Don't touch me." It was a warning. His blood boiled the longer he looked at Mikhail, but with a low growl, he calmed himself down before setting Mikhail down on his feet He had to remind himself that Mikhail was probably just... very curious. And probably didn't know the concept of personal space when it came to dead people.
He sat back down, though he didn't exactly give his back to Mikhail, opting instead to face him so he could avoid anymore unnecessary contact. Trying to nap in the living world was really not a good idea now...
He called him a 'threadcutter', though... Even asked where his thread was, "...I don't have one. ...You shouldn't approach threadless people so easily." 'Especially if they're quick on their weapon draw,' he kept the last sentence to himself, glancing quickly over the arm of his chair where his duffel bag was. His axe was right where he left it, and he felt that Mikhail should be glad the viking had a rather difficult-to-draw weapon on his person.
"...I smell? Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" the redhead narrowed his eyes at the human. This kid was weird. Was he saying angels smelled? Phew, and you'd think ascending to a higher plane would save you from the horrors of B.O.
From where he was sitting, he did notice a rather familiar figure at the computers nearby. A brunette he once met in the subway... and... some blue-haired chick. Both threadless. Interesting.

Sienna looked a bit unsure as the girl stood there but as she asked for help she nodded. "Oh uh sure." She replied managing a small smile as she walked over to the nearest computer and sat down. Seconds later her nimble fingers had pulled it up and there it was all up and ready. "Now, w-what did you need help with?" She asked looking her way patiently. Something about other people being shy subdued her own usual shyness some. Something about it made her protective to an extent and she understood how hard it was being so shy sometimes. Also she couldn't help them if she was having problems too. Her own feelings tended to take a backseat most of the time.
She was aware f the other two nearby and kind of hoped the human might stay preoccupied with the as man while she did this. Didn't need any distractions and he'd provide one for sure.

"Weh!" Mikhail squeaked as he was picked up off the ground, his legs dangling helplessly a few inches off the ground. He didn't fight, rather, he looked pleased. "Y-you're so strong! Do...are all angels this strong!?" he asked excitedly. His eyes widened suddenly and he cupped his hand over his mouth. "Oh! An apprentice, I apologize."
"HEY!" came a sudden hiss. The librarian had looked up from her desk and was glaring at Joakim and Mikhail, putting a finger to her lips. "Be quiet, boys!" And with that warning spat out, she went back to her work, as though Joakim was just an ordinary faceless library patron rather than a giant hairy viking carrying around a war axe and picking up shrimpy teenage boys into the air. The furthest thing from a normal 'boy,' but she had seen Mikhail and assumed they were both teenage boys. Or something along those lines.
"S-sorry..." Mikhail wibbled, sitting down in his chair. He looked at Joakim, drumming his fingertips together, looking fascinated. "So....so they can see you! I've always wondered...am I the only one? But...they don't 'notice' you, do they?"
