Hello, this is Haiku. I need help with this website/forum/thread concept. I'm not very good at using the World Wide Web (or do you call it the Internet these days?), or many electronics unless it comes with a manual. I don't like asking for help, but there is no manual and I can't figure out a few things. It's just two, but the second one is . . . most alarming.
First of all, there's a part of my profile that requires me to apply my signature, but I don't know how? Why does it need my signature anyway? Am I signing my soul away to the forum? What is it for???
Secondly, I woke up to check the forum and there was a [ 1 ] next to my profile. I clicked it and it said someone was following me! How do I get them stop? I don't like people following me. I don't even see this person following me! Who are you??? I'm looking behind my shoulder every waking moment and I don't sleep well at night. I don't appreciate this. Stop following me.
Anyway, if anyone could help me with this ordeal, I'd appreciate this greatly.

As to your first problem, there is a way to solve it. Though I believe you have already found out how to add a signature. You are not signing your soul away; do not worry. There are no strings attached (he he he) to your signature. It is merely a string of personalized text.
This "follower" will not actually follow you -- they are merely there to look at your posts. They are an existing extra archive; a witness to all your unfortunate shenanigans (is that the right word?) upon this forum. They are only forum-following you. They are assuredly not a stalker... unless they choose to be, in which case you may want to seek justice from something that is not these forums.

LMFAO omg dude--Basically what the chick above said, you got how to do the signiture but kinda lost the personal touch. Basically it's just something you want to show who are you! Orrr a message you always want people to see. Kind of like a status that is always tagged onto what you say : ) Like Mine is "Forget Me Not" in greek and my pic is of kassandra and hellebores. SOoo yeah, think you get that? AND HAHAHA I'm so sorry but that was to funny, no one is really stalking you...I mean, they can see every little thing you post here and all your activity besides PM's buuuuuuuuuut they can't like you know, see into your apartment or stalk you in the streets hAHAHA Oh man, hopefully you didn't trip to much over this!

actually... i think you should concerned about people following you. they have the capability of hacking into your account and posting for you. they can also find your IP address, and with that, your physical location. if they wanted to, they could very easily find out where you live. i would advise unplugging your ethernet cable and closing all of your blinds. lock your doors. lay low for a couple days. stay safe, buddy.

Mod Horror speaks the truth of IP addresses -- however, I would not worry to that extent. Member Fran is right, however. There will always be people who are willing to hunt down crafters. When it comes to this, Member Fran is right -- you must always stay safe and be watchful.
But Member Fran is also right in that Mod Horror spews garbage from the mouth. He speaks of concern but truly spouts things that would frighten those who he can fool.
