Sen grinned mischievously at her eye roll as she fell into step beside her, keeping pace rather well despite being a bit shorter. He was used to walking beside taller people. it was literally his life. "No preference almighty then." he glanced around and finally spotted what he'd hoped was around the corner. "How's the Hourglass Tavern sound to ya? It's not my favorite but I think it would suit your style. Dark and dusky and all that." Also they had some top notch wine and he did love the wine.

Saoirse would walk rather quickly, aptly slipping around crowds while lagging behind just enough for Sen to walk besides her. She needed to keep an eye on him after all, wouldn't want him to bail. At the mention of a tavern Saoirse would look around until she spotted the bar he mention, shaking her head. "Well you certainly think highly of me," Saoirse noted, a smirk entering her face as she gestured to the tavern. "I don't mind going there, maybe if I get a thing of whiskey I can start narrating to myself and become part of a LA Noir-styled show or something," she pointed out, sarcasm seeping into her voice at the end as she continued onwards towards the tavern.

"I think highly of all women." Sen replied, his shoulders shrugging as he offered her a lazy grin. As she talked about drinking and narrating in a certain style he laughed. "Well well I'll be sure to remember every embarrassing thing you say so I can use it against you next time~" He replied with equal sarcasm. She struck him as the type who could hold her liquor. Something he'd not been too good at really himself. A glass of wine wasn't bad but anything heavier and he'd not last long.
As they got closer he shuffled a head enough to open the door for her and made a grand sweeping gesture for her to go first. "Law Enforcement first~" He teased and winked and would follow her in once she'd slipped inside.

"Do you really think highly of all women? Why am I not surprised," Saoirse would state, sarcasm in her tone rather evident as they reached the bar. She was rather surprised by him opening the door for her, muttering a "thanks" before entering and going up the stairs.
The Hourglass Tavern's bar was indeed dark, lightbulbs dimly lighting up the bar's red walls and tables that occupied it. It wasn't as dusty as Sen stated, but it certainly seemed old by the antique wooden furniture of the tavern. The bar, however, looked a lot more modern. Shelves of glass lined the back, bottles of alcohol lining them, with a metal rack on top with all sorts of wines. It was absurd how many bottles of wine they seemed to have. The giant hourglass seemed kinda tacky compared to the rest of the bar, but other than that it looked rather sophisticated.
Saoirse smiled as she found that there were, indeed, two seats. Good. She'd wait for her..."companion" to reach the second floor of the tavern before grabbing a seat at the bar and gesturing at Sen to join her.

"Of course~: Sen chirped in reply as she waked in ahead of him. Glancing around he was a bit less wow'd by the decor since he'd come here plenty enough on business ventures and a few one time dates. He had had a lot of those.
Shifting his focus back to the present he followed behind and slipped into the empty seat beside his bar buddy and grinned wolfishly at her. "See now, isn't this way better then having to follow along as I was cuffed and taken to the police station where you'd have been stuck dealing with your work buddies who are probably no where near as good looking as I am? Already I'e made your night that much better."
Further down the bar the man working it made his way down to take their orders to which Sen allowed Sao to order first/

Saoirse would glance at Sen as he slipped onto the empty bar seat next to her, noting his woflish grin and rolling her eyes away from him at how egotistical he was being. Good lord he makes it seem like it’s some sort of privilege to be around him. “You know, my night could have been made whether you were in the picture or not as long as I didn’t have to go back to the office.”
When the bartender came to the two of them, Saoirse would glance at the bottles lining the back and ordered a more expensive bourbon on the rocks, before glancing over at Sen with a smirk, gesturing for him to tell the bartender his order.

Cheeky girl, but he liked that she did it regardless and only smiled in response at first. He ordered a white wine, not the most expensive but he just preferred this particular brand. It was nice though, getting to drink more than a couple glasses. With that done he turned back to Sao to respond to her earlier comment. "Is that so? You can't know that for sure? What would you have gone home to exactly? You got a family? A man mayhaps but I doubt it. You strike me as the type who works and doesn't do much else. So after this I have plans, and you're coming with."

“I got a bed, and a nice comfy couch with a tv…don’t really need much else,” she would state, looking at him straight in the eye for a few moments before glancing down at the bar bored. “However I’m going to have to reject your plans…as I really don’t feel like staying in this area for much longer. Again, that bed is calling to me…I’m sure you understand.”

The bartender showed up with their drinks. They were placed discreetly on napkins and then he shuffled off to tend to the next patron. The moment he was out of ear shot Sen snorted. "A TV? I don't think a TV counts, in fact nothing you stated counts. It's all furniture babe. None of that counts. so I'm gonna reject your rejection of my plans. You need a lot more. So much more than your furniture. So drink your bourbon because we're going out and we're gonna do things. Fun things. Ignore your bed. it's not as needy as I am anyhow. What's it gonna do? Hound you down till you lie in it? I think not."

As soon as the glass with her bourbon was placed on the table Saoirse looked up to quickly mutter a thanks to the bartender, sighing and shaking her head at Sen as he spoke. Can this guy not get a hint?
"Oh so you're admitting to being a needy bastard," Saoirse jokes, only being somewhat serious as she glanced at Sen for a moment before taking a sip of the bourbon she ordered. "No, it won't hunt me down...but I'd prefer sleeping in my bed early tonight and waking up refreshed than the aching limbs that come with not getting enough sleep the night before. I'm sure you understand that...right?"

Perfect, he could totally spend eternity having a glass of this once a day. Would be fabulous really. Ahhh but back to the matter at hand. He leaned forward and propped an elbow on the counter before turning his gaze back to the woman.
"Aching limbs from a lack of sleep?" Sen asked with a raised brow and a teasing grin. "That sounds way kinky babe. The whole point of this after party venture is to avoid the bed, but well I'm always up for a little voyeurism if that's what you'd prefer."

Amber eyes would glare at Sen, glistening like they were made of fire against the dim lights of the bar. "You know what I was trying to say....pervert." She'd take another sip, glancing down at the liquid that revolved in the glass as Saoirse spoke, "Point being...I don't care for after parties. Nor do I wanna know what the hell you wanna do on a Thursday night." With that she'd pause to take a gulp of the bourbon. "I'd just like to go home and take care of some last minute stuff before falling asleep. So no, I'm not going with you...find someone else."

Laughing at her venomous words he only seemed more amused with her. "Like I said, we're not going home, we're going out and that's final." He had made up his mind and he would not be deterred. "How about this, if we're not having fun 15 or so minutes in, we'll go back to your place~" He winked slowly, forever teasing the poor blue collar worker. He just couldn't help himself.

And just for the record, there's no way in hell I'd let you into my apartment," Saoirse clearly states with a cold tone, taking another large sip of her bourbon. At this rate she better finish it up before the ice melts and it just becomes all disgusting and watery. "You'll just have to sit out in the cold or go home or just give up and find someone else to bother."

Such a killjoy. But then that was half the fun with these types. Hm, it would seem he'd pressed his luck a bit tonight so he'd let her off the hook this time. "Fine fine, we'll play this your way tonight. I'll walk you home and we'll have fun the next time you catch me in the act of some heinous crime~" Obviously he had every intention of showing up to harass her again.
