Ah New York. Sen's old stomping grounds. He'd loved this park, still did really. Having lived in a more vibrant locale before moving here the city and it's overbearing grayness had been anything but inviting for him. But the park had helped a lot. So why not use it for his second attempt to make the season more festive. Eventually the fun sucking apprentices had left and he'd double backed to collect what he'd left behind mistletoe wise and got more as well.
And then he'd dressed up a small section of the park with mistletoe and was seated off to the side. He'd littered the bridge with it. Fantastic idea really as he sat himself down off to the side and waited for some lovely ladies to wander his way. He even held a newspaper in hand to keep from looking conspicuous. The only thing giving him away was that perpetual smirk on his face.

NYC... a busy and crowded town that sometimes just had a way about it that was appealing. It had it's moments of beauty as others the pollution and smog over run the city. Traffic and the constant honking builds chronic headaches... If only one had enough aspirin. But... The neon lights, some which flash, and cars that string their tail lights as they drive by at night... During the day, it still wasn't bad with all the talent on the sidewalks as music and parade floats ran along the streets. Still lively and amazing. This isn't even mentioning the holiday decor and the lights that come with that... New York was just perfect...
A random roam of the streets, looking for excitement...Anything really... Eilis yawned and stretched out as if a cat. Things seemed dull since the party and that wasn't even too long ago. Her spurt of confidence that night still surprised her. Her skirt waved lightly by breezes causing her to shiver though legs were covered by thick stockings. A hood was pulled over her head as she walked through narrow roads and hoping to find some excitement... somewhere.

Kit's frequent visits to their home city usually had them feeling depressed, and this time was no exception. But it was where they always found themselves wanting to be. They hadn't accepted their death, they supposed; maybe that was why they kept on coming back to the place they came from. They usually ended up in a strange daze for each visit, eyes distant and headphones covering their ears at all times.
They drifted through one of the many parks, gaze cast downward aside from the occasional glance around at the scenery. No matter what others said, New York City truly did have some beautiful areas. Amongst the bustling city and towering buildings, there were places that seemed to have a slower pace than everywhere else. Seemed that there were some decorations around here, too; mistletoe hung all around in one particular area in the park, and Kit found themselves sighing and pulling up their hood in response. They didn't particularly feel like being kissed by random humans today.

[Salvia finished up her mission at Central Park. It was pretty sad, actually. Snipping the threads of the homeless trying to sleep on benches or beneath benches or anywhere they don't have to be noticed . . . it's never easy. Well, actually it has gotten easier to gnaw off their threads as time passed; Salvia wanted these poor folks to be in a better place, or she hope so anyway. The struggle was just seeing them as they were. The worse part sometimes was that some seemed to be holding on persistently to hope, hoping that someday they can pull through and everything will be alright. That's when the thread seemed tougher to cut; not because it gave her difficulty to do so, but they were just tougher to chew through, like a really hard gummy. Those stubborn threads always gave her jaw sores afterwards, and they made her heart ache a little.]
[Initially she was planning to get a hot dog as she always did after a mission, any food that can clean out the taste of thread from her mouth. But this time she lost her appetite. Stupid missions. Stupid winter. Stupid cold weather for everything. She kicked snow in front of her as she approached the bridge, too angsty and oblivious to notice the misteltoe hung up.]

Sen had actually been expecting to ensnare some living women in his mistletoe menagerie. Instead he had attracted the same three he'd caught earlier. Well then. This was either a sketchy twist of fate or these people were bound and determined to ruin things for him. The possibility they actually wanted to kiss him was a fleeting thought he didn't take too seriously. He stayed where he was though for now, peering out at the passers by through the peep holes in the paper he was pretending to read. If anyone came close enough they could see it was him. He'd also brazenly left the basket with extra mistletoe underneath his seat. All one would have to do was pay him any attention and he'd be quickly announced as the perpetrator of this obnoxious decor.
He idly wondered how this might go. Would they all continue on and leave? That was his preferred outcome and the one that allowed him to hopefully find some lovely female company for the afternoon. Or would these people ruin his fun again. He was content on waiting it out at that point until he noticed the third person join them and all bets were off then as he folded the paper down and gave himself away to grin wolfishly at Salvia. "Firecracker! You stalking me? And here I didn't think you cared." Yes yes, he did like this one so far. There was something mildly intimidating about that aura that he found positively inspiring.
