Sen gave Heng a quick once over, just enough to be sure the clothes fit and were up to standard. This kind of hick town fashion was not his thing. He glanced up to the man as he asked about his apparently obvious upsetness. "What? Oh. I was just imagining what my life would've been like if I were you." He replied simply with some obvious disdain and a crooked, unkind grin before he turned to start walking back to the clothing area they'd been in.
He wasn't holding much back or keeping anything to himself. as he addressed his current fashion victim. "Well, it looks good, Hows does it feel? Better right? Well then again you wouldn't really know anyhow. But the point of the matter is you're not a literal eye sore anymore." He looked pleased, not elated but he was content with this. Such a diva.
"Okay so we'll get a few more pants and find you some gimmicky t-shirts with proper English on them. Then we can leave." Crisis averted and another victim of awful fashion had been saved by yours truly. Maybe when he had the time he'd make him something more ethnically inclined towards his homeland. Maybe.

Heng tilted his head, briefly thinking back to his life.
After two thousand somewhat years to reflect on it, he no longer felt any bitterness towards it. He's accepted it as is. It was no worse nor better than it could've been.
(The tiredness he felt leading up to his death however is much harder to accept. Especially when he still feels it now).
"My life wasn't easy, no, Then again, who's is?" Heng said off handedly.
When Sen began his barrage of questions, Heng was pulled out of his thoughts. He patted down the sweater again, pulling at it lightly. It was loose enough that it wasn't hugging his body in some weird fabric choke hold, but wasn't hanging off of him either. It fit really well and Heng was impressed that Sen could gauge the fit by eye.
"It does feel nice. The material is soft," he said, giving Sen a smile.

Sen scoffed in amusement. "Mine was. My life was about as easy as it gets." And he had no problem stating so proudly. Sure he'd worked hard to get to where he'd been but it hadn't been hard. With his good looks, proper upbringing and his artistic talents life had practically laid down and let him walk on it as he pleased. Except for the dying bit and his tunnel vision impact on relationships his life had been sweet.
"Yes well as long as it works for us both then we're good." He gestured to some shirts laying on a table. "Pick a few from here and then we'll grab your pants." He seen no reason to choose the shirts, he knew they'd all be find regardless so he let him do that. It was important that your clients have input. And while he had never had issues with this with the ladies he never really had learned to extend this to his male clients. And he hadn't lost any sleep over it while dead or alive.

"...You're young," Heng said after a moment, before turning to do as instructed.
He ended up somehow picking the plainest clothes of the litter. And he picked sparingly. He didn't need that much clothes. Never did. Besides, his mother used to make all of his clothes and shoes. Even the warm captain's clothing never compared to the raggedy shirts and pants he wore as a child. Well, practically speaking they were much better but, they weren't made with love.
Heng frowned. That was sappy even for him. Did being around Sen make him think of home more? Heng looked back over at Sen. ...Nope, nothing like home at all in any shape or form.

"Young? You don't look that much older than me but if that helps you cope with your existence then do whatever." Sen replied waving his silly response off with his hand as he pulled out his phone and flipped through it, checking his messages and mail. He hadn't looked Heng's way until he felt an eye on him and he cast his shifty blue eyes towards him and caught him looking his way. The heck. "Are you done? If all you can do is stare at me then I'm going to assume you are, Bring your stuff, we'll check out and then we can go." He was so ready to get out of this Hick Town Store from Hell.

Heng made a face, raising his eyebrow as he walked over to the cash register. With the swipe of his phone and a ding from the beautifully efficient cash register machine, Heng had bags in his hand and joined Sen's side again.
"Ready when you are," he said. After this he was going to brew tea. Lots of tea. And he'll drink it while sitting in the gardens. Good.

The sound of the cash register being used and the cashier ringing Heng out. Soon this trip would be over and he could consider this outing a success. Hopefully this swordsman didn't look like a walking disaster so much. "Been ready." He said with a bark of laughter and walked briskly out the doors. A flower was in his hand which he pulled some petals off of immediately and soon the portal had sent them back and they now stood in the HQ's entrance area and he sighed in relief. He was going to leave but suddenly stopped and turned back to the samurai. "I take it you let the house staff do our laundry?" he asked raising an eyebrow as he waited for an answer. The guy looked like he might never have actually seen a wash machine let alone use one.

"I uh... handwash my clothes for the most part," he said. His usual clothes weren't so er, finicky. "I suppose that you can't do that with er,," he lifted the shopping bags. How did he let Sen talk him into getting so much clothes.

Sen fixed Heng with an odd expression as his face fluctuated between disgust and surprise before settling on a smug amusement. He really shouldn't be surprised. But how gross of a practice to have. Did he wash them in a cold, flowing stream as well. "Okay then." he said finally with a laugh. "You can't hand wash that stuff there dude. Just drop your stuff off with the cleaning staff once it's dirty, they'll take care of it." He waved him off and turned to leave and hopefully find some ladies to keep him company, or at least go work on an outfit since he was slightly inspired after that outing.

"R-right," Heng replied, letting the bags drop to his side. It's tea time.
