(Aka clothes are awesome and Marion can't tell a Hunter if they slapped her in the face)
Ah, back in the living world. Marion strolled down the street, enjoying the freedom of the city without a reap order hanging over her head. She looked wonderful, of course, in her black glimmering dress. But, if course, no human turned to look at her. Shame. They were missing the perfection that was twenties clothing.
However, twenties clothing and Marion's almost obsessiveness over it was why she was here, looking for a good store. She had been dared to go a full month of without a single piece of clothing from the Roaring Twenties. Blasphemy, but it was a dare. Marion never ignored a dare.
So here she was, standing in front of a brightly colored little boutique called 'Lithium'. Going to find some modern clothing. ... But where exactly was she supposed to start?

Penelope's nose flared as she stared through the windows into the shop L i t h i u m She couldn't believe she was here...yet there was no way around it. Most of her clothing was basic - t-shirts, jeans, yoga pants; HOWEVER, this was not appropriate for her place of employment, demanding a more business causal look for their desk employees. Penelope nearly gagged on her tongue at the idea of her in a suit. She hadn't shopped for clothes in a very long time causing her to feel out of sorts with herself. Penelope adjusted her black wig as she thought muttering a list of possible clothes she should buy. She'd gone onto the internet to look up outfits for her body type. She'd felt relieved to discover that business casual could be a variety of things, not just suits. Penelope made a small face at her reflection noticing that her face was on a mannequin with a particular outfit Penelope found a bit tasteless. Definitely not something she'd consider. Penelope was about to go inside when she notices a young woman standing not too far from the entrance looking at the sign. Penelope mentally agreed the woman had a very interesting fashion choice.
Penelope opens the door and speaks to the woman. "Are you going in as well?" Penelope holds open the door awaiting the woman's answer.

Marion looked up, startled by the words. Most didn't notice her when she was in the real world, or if so not for long. The greeting was quite appreciated, "I am!" She smiled quickly, walking to the door the woman was so kindly holding open, "Thank you so much! Are you here to shop as well?" She glanced over the woman's outfit quickly. Well, she seemed to know how to dress herself in the modern day. And dress herself well! Perhaps she would be the kind of help Marion needed, "I myself haven't been to a store like this in..." She allowed herself a little smile, trying to calculate exactly how long it had been, "Ages. At least."

"Don't feel bad, neither have I." Penelope lets the woman go through first before sliding in herself allowing the door to automatically close behind her. Penelope talks slow hoping to disguise her accent. "Well not in ages mind you but it still feels weird." She states making a small gesture to her outfit. Penelope glances around the store. "This is going to be interesting there are a lot of choices here."Penelope picks up a blue dress absentmindedly.

Marion didn't notice the woman's accent- or disguised version of it- at all. Instead, she was interested in what the woman was doing, "I'm glad someone else knows the feeling," Marion murmured absentmindedly, watching her pick up a blue dress. Ah. Yes, finding clothing. Was that blue dress in style? How was Marion supposed to know what would fit her? She could only really imagine herself in the glimmering dresses she already owned. This was all... New to her. She copied the woman's motions, picking up a light, shimmering green skirt that matched her eyes and examining it closely. Was this normal? She usually got fitted for her outfits, back at home, "There certainly are a lot of choices," She agreed, worrying her lip, "I suppose that's a good thing. But... So much to choose from. H-How do you decide what you like?"

Penelope thought on the woman's question for moment. In truth Penelope just knew what she'd like and what looked good on her. She had a lot of practice albeit the way she gained it was unorthodox (history meant for another time). "Usually pencil skirts look good since I'm more pear shaped... but by the way you look I'd say-" Penelope's eyes do a quick sweep. "Something a bit more flow around the waist to to give you volume would be good."

Marion looked down at her own dress and a smile crossed her face. Maybe it wouldn't be as hard as she thought to find clothes, if she just found the modern day version of what she already wore, "Fine idea!" She moved over to a red flaired skirt that glimmered faintly in the doors dim light and held it to her, trying to determine if red was her color, "I envy your shape. I'd love to be able to wear those..." She paused, trying to remember what the woman had called them, "Pen skirts? Crayon skirts? Umm... You know, those kinds. I just don't really have the hips for that," She frowned down at them, as if they has betrayed her.

Penelope chuckled lightly. "Pencil skirts is the word you're looking for." She turns to the woman."But don't worry about me. I'm short but I'm more of a pear shape." Penelope puts her hands on her waist and shakes her head. "Kind of wish I was more busty though like my mom. Some of the dresses she wore... ugh, drove me nuts about how much cleavage she had. So jealous." Penelope laughs. "You've an amazing figure though. You can wear nearly anything and look good in it, it's all about how you style yourself..." Penelope flips through some clothes on the rack. "Likeeeeee~ This!" She pulls out of the rack a short green dress that was sheer at the bottom. "It's nice because it's patterned and it flows. Give it a try." Penelope smiles at the young woman as she holds out the dress to her.

"I think EVERYONE wishes they were more busty," Marion giggled, "Sometimes women are more obsessed with it than guys are." She flushed at the compliment, admiring Penelope's choice, "Oh, that's goregous! I didn't even see that, I HAVE to try it on."
Marion paused, wondering if she could help the other woman out. Her style was more twenties glam then anything else, but she could recommend some things "If you're trying on that blue dress," She advised, nodding at the one Penelope had been looking at earlier, you should pair it with this necklace. It has the hints of blue, but it also twinkles very nicely. I think it would love wonderful to bring out the light in your eyes."

Penelope kept smiling even though she grimaced inside, she didn't like jewelry she found it too much of a hassle (aside from her tongue ring) so she didn't bother. Penelope's mind ran through a few possibilities and settled with deciding there were worse things than trying on ONE necklace. "Alright I'll try it on then." She takes the necklace and the blue dress putting them on her arm. "Well I suppose this is the time when we try them on?" Penelope chuckled.
