Amongst the colorful tents and roaming crowds sits a purple booth seemingly hidden from the more popular attractions. A beaded curtain sparkles in the sun, eeirly attractive for the curious mind. Daring to brush aside the curtain and venture in would bring you to a smokey room, lit only by a swirling ball.
"Welcome," Says a figure, emerging from the shadows, "I have been expecting you. Come to learn your future?"
(Choose one of the three- Crystal Ball- Get a fortune-cookie esque fortune. Usually fairly humorous and light hearted Palm Reading- On the spot fortune more personal to your apprentice Tarort Card- Learn which Tarot Card represents you. Marion is horrible at this, so expect long winded explanations that make little sense. Lucky Number- Get your number in order to be eligible for a lotto. Winner gets a CHIBI from Jenchi-Saru and PIXEL ART from Hazelstar67. Lotto drawn after event closes!
You can try multiple methods, but choose one at a time so Marion can keep up~)

Lincoln had time to kill between his cafe shifts, so he went out into the carnival grounds and wandered around idly, peeking at booths and trying them for maybe a few minutes. He wasn't exceptionally bored, but he certainly was curious. Besides, all the time he has spent on the Realm he hasn't been around for a carnival like this.
Reaching what seems to be the end of the line of booths, he tiptoes and peers around between the carnival boundaries, in case there were anymore back there hiding. Seeing nothing, he shrugs and turns back, but stops when he catches sight of a tent he had not seen yet, tucked a ways off between booths and larger tents. Its entrance shimmered in the daylight, and still as curious as he was earlier, Lincoln steps around the booths and entered the tent slowly.
After a brief introduction from the resident Apprentice, Lincoln stood at the entrance and pondered for a moment. The moment passed, and he shrugged. Nothing to lose, and the idea sounded interesting.
"Sure," Lincoln answered, "What does the crystal ball have to say for today?"

Marion, beneath her costume, gave the Apprentice a suprised once-over. Customers! So tbe last reasing hadnt frightened anyone off... Good. Then, she cleared her throat, pressed a pedal under the table that pumped in even more fog, and closed her eyes. She hummed, waving her hands over the glowing ball before her. Suddenly, her eyes napped open and she stared straight at him, "Lincoln," She gasped, breath raspy and holding his eyes as she fumbled with something under the table, "Yes, I see it! This is very important, listen closely," She glanced down for a split second, "When you come to that one special crossroad, turn right.... The fate of the world may depend on it. Do you understand? You. Must. Turn. Right "

Lincoln was amused by the setup the lady had in her booth. It was classically dramatic, but Lincoln was up for theatrics. Listening to the fortune that crystal ball apparently showed him, he nodded his head with raised eyebrows and a somewhat serious face.
"To the right, huh?" he mused, putting a hand to his chin as he thinks about this revelation. Perhaps it would have something to do with one of his parkour runs in the future. Certainly can't go wrong when jumping between rooftop gaps. As he continued to ponder in the foggy room, he felt his pocket buzz and an incessant beeping soon followed. Digging in his pocket produced his watch, and it was crunch time for his high tea shift.
"Oooh," he mumbles under his breath as he pockets it once more. He stood up from his seat and turns to the lady of the booth. "Thank you for the fortune, miss!" he says enthusiastically. "Now I hope that decision comes far in the future, cuz right now I have work to do." He settles his business, and with a wave, he exits the tent.

Eilis needed to do something in her spare time, though little amount as it may have been, this gave a perfect opportunity to do a few things around the fair. Between shifts of her own teams train rides, her shift at the first aid booth, then the late evening shift at the cafe... Eilis didn't feel busy enough. She saw the normal rides, darts, duck pond, petting zoo, and so one, but one area stuck out. Bright and colorful tents caught her eyes from the back of the fair grounds, as the surrounding flashing lights from the other attractions it was tucked upon, caused these tents to brighten and pop out more. It was kind of clear what would be inside but the possibilities could have intentionally been endless, if she didn't know better.
The woman stepped forward at a slow pace. She didn't believe in this crap, typically thinking it was voodoo lies or whatever, but the passing of teammates opened up something in her; the part which wanted to explore, break free, and be completely open to anything. Her shift at the cafe was supposed to be a start for her... but maybe THIS is where it'd start. What could this place tell about herself? Something new she didn't know? or just Mumbo Jumbo....Either way, Eilis entered passing a guy that actually looked familiar, taking in the beads and clashing colors, just as she'd though it'd look. Some reason it made her giggle.
Hearing the voice from the shadows stepping forward in to sight, Eilis looked at a sign listing all the woman could do; didn't go into detail of each one, but it was self explanatory. "Guess that also means you know which one I'm hoping to hear about." Taking in a breath, she continued. "I'd like to have a tarot reading."

Marion looked up as the next customer arrived. She seemed a little unsure about the process, but that was to be expected. Many who came to her booth didn't quite believe in the ability to see into the future. And some really DID, which almost scared Marion more. She hated making things up to soemone who really thought everything she was saying was going to be the absolute truth, "A tarot reading?" Marion repeated, nodding as if she HAD already forseen the woman's choice, "Naturally. Your fortune can come to you through the cards. She pulled out a deck, explaining as she went, "This here is the Major Arcana deck," She said it wisely, as if she hadn't just read it from the box as she pulled them out, "I will shuffle the cards, and draw one that represents you. This will- hopefully- correspond with who you are, and tell you what you might be facing or what you should avoid."
With that hanging in the air, Marion tried to draw a card. Two toppled out, and she frowned down at them. She wasn't great at shuffling, but this just made her look bad. Perhaps she could play it off, "Ah, two cards have claimed you," She nodded seriously, flipping them over, "Hmmm. Death and Strength. Strength represents control, patience, compassion. All qualities you may possess in your best of times. However, when Strength is reversed, it can lead to weakness and self doubt.
"This other card, Death, is not as alarming as it may sound. It usually comes after a major event, representing endings, change, and transitions. Reversed, it can lead to the inability to move on with life. Either some major issue will happen to you, or it did. From the cards, it seems like it may have already happened. You must accept the Death card as it is- A change. The Strength card shows you must move on, using your strength to guide you. Although it may seem impossible at times, dwelling on the event the Death card foretells is a way to turn it around. Although I have hope for you, as both cards came out facing upright, not reversed."
Marion drew a breath and smiled kindly at the other woman. She certainly hoped she hadn't said anything too much off track. After all, she seemed kind and sometimes throwing around cards like 'Death' is something people didn't take kindly too. Especially if they WERE dead already, "Do you have any more questions to ask the cards? I also have other ways to search the future."

Eilis nodded... Mumbo Jumbo was right but yet, it did make sense. It was something she needed to hear; it really was. In a way, with death also came life. Maybe it was time for a change, let her team mates in more, and even move on though she knew her anger of past team mates wouldn't leave anytime soon. Confronting the one who killed them might help her move on completely, but with that, her own life may be threatened. Just one step at a time... one step.
Eilis smiled and shook her head. "Death is normal, no? Comes in many forms..." Her eyes looked back at the list again. "No more from the cards but I'd like a lucky number, please..." Then she would get back to other things across the fair. Her shifts better yet...

"If I said death wasn't normal, I would be a bit of a hypocrite. But, I'm sure I've had plenty of time to adjust to that idea," Marion laughed. When Eillis asked for a lucky number, she scrambled beneath the table for something unseen. There was the sound, like the cracking of a cookie, then Marion read off, "Your lucky numbers for today are...6 28 7 21 27. Go... Win the lottery, or something."

Eilis couldn't help but chuckle. This place may have not been totally real but it was most definitely a place that could take off the weighted heart, even if the the prodictions weren't legit. "Thank you very much... Good luck with the rest of the fair." With that, the woman headed out with the lucky numbers in mind. Never know... maybe numbers would become lucky.

Today had been...lovely. One of the best days she ever had, in fact. It didn't matter she had come toe to toe with hunters all day, or that her booth was in shambles, or that she had possibly been pied in the face.
...Okay, maybe the day hadn't been good. But this evening had been! Largely in part to her best friend. It seemed so childish to call him that, but what other title could she call him publicly? But that was a question to figure put at another time, though the apprentice leader, who spotted something of interest.
"Rhys, what's that?" Grabbing his hand Inkidortes practically yanked the pale man to look at a peculiar purple tent, adorned by purple sparkling beads.
O v O "I believe that's a stall that tells us what lays in store for our futureeeee." With a flamboyant spread of his hand across in front of him he drew a grin from her.
"....as well as how compatible we are. Probably. O v U " Now that had her snickering under her breath as they approached the tent.
"Don't we already know the answer to that?" She remarked, sweeping the beads out of their way and striding into the tent, coughing at the sudden smoke. What, was there a fire in here?
Apparently not, considering a figure had approached out of the smoke and said something about expecting them and learning their future. Inkidortes quirked a disbelieving eyebrow at Rhys. Were they supposed to believe this stuff?

Marion almost missed the pair as they entered her tent, after her little mishap with the fog machine. When she finally coughed away the smoke, she was greeted with two vaguely familiar faces. The woman...Inkidortes? Marion thought she had gone to her arm wrestling booth.
She thought she saw the familar look of skeptism and cleared her throat as mysteriously as she could, "Perhaps you two doubt my skills? No matter! My skills can speak for themselves," She raised her eyebrows, "Now, how would you like your future fortold?"

Oh, so the woman doubted her own ability? Inkidortes' other eyebrow raised skeptically to join the other. The lady had said it herself, hadn't she? Neither Rhys nor Inkidortes at hinted at it.
Crossing her arms she looked sharply at Rhys, expression somewhere between regret and curiosity. She'd like to think regret far outweighed her curiosity, and she was certainly sending signals to Rhys that went along the lines of "please communicate for me this was a bad idea but I'll never openly admit that." Even so, superstitions and her natural curiosity stirred as she looked the lady up and down with a cursory glance, eyes flitting off of her to settle on the crystal ball.
It kind of freaked her out.

"Oh, no, no. Madame, mufufu~” The silver-haired Apprentice Leader who had entered the tent together with Inkidortes chuckled gently, and shook his head in polite protest. "I would not dare doubt your skills. In fact, the reason why we are here is because we are genuinely…curious. Curious to know what you see in our future~”
He grinned cheekily at the fortune-telling lady before them — despite her elaborate getup, this woman was, without a doubt, Marion Stein, one of his own Apprentices. Still, this whole fortune telling thing did seem pretty entertaining… He'd definitely play along with it. It did also help greatly that Inkie seemed to be holding concealed interest in the topic as well…
“If it is alright with you, Madame, we’d like to have our palms read~” he chimed, his crimson eyes glinting with curiosity and intrigue as he placed a hand on Inkidortes’ shoulder, and flashed her a quick wink to reassure her that this was all in good fun. "Who should go first, in your professional opinion?" He beamed, turning his gaze back on the fortune teller before them.
