[Salvia's ego sighed with relief as the boy briefly described the birds' opinions. She shrugged with a small smile.] "Nice to know I have an interesting, diverse audience out there," [she laughed.]
[She spotted the door with the decrepit cardboard suggestion box still hanging at the front; it's a wonder no one decided to trash it yet. Maybe it's just forgotten by now. She hastened her pace to be the first at the door, unwilling to let the boy meet her co-workers. Especially the more careless ones.] "I'll got get the stapler and stuff, just wait out here for me. It's stupidly stuffy in there."
[She quickly swung the door open and strode inside, calling out to her co-workers and simultaneously complaining about the papers. The closing door carefully inched back to the frame before quietly crawling to a halt, hanging loose and temptingly open by a foot or so.]

Soon enough they reached a door with a rather familiar cardboard box haphazardly stuck to the front. It looked mangled and worn and well used. How many slips did they get in there a day, he wondered.
As Salvia stepped in, Owen stayed outside like he was told. Though the slightly ajar door let all the noise out from inside, and it was like it was inviting him to go inside, just perhaps for a peek. Holding his papers together, he stuck his head through the door to look inside.

He stepped inside the room to avoid the plane hitting him in any way, shape or form. The big greeting scared him too, to be frank. He gave a wave with his sleeves and a monotonous "Hello everyone." to the ones seated there.
Though once Salvia came back, he scooted himself out of there. A whole box of paper binding items. Perfect! He'd have to keep these out of reach from the birds down at the keeper's room lest the crows steal all the shiny bits. Or he could keep them in his room, he hadn't decided that yet. He stared deeply into the box before thanking her quietly.

[He looked like he goddamn found the secrets to the universe while staring into the box. What is up with this kid?] "Hey, no problem. Take however much you need." [She shook the box, loosening and shuffling its contents around.]

"Thank you Salvia." He said almost mechanically, like he was taught to say such pleasantries in such a scenario. He looked through the box and grabbed one clip for his own papers. The stack wasn't neatly aligned but at least nothing would fall out now. He took one or two more similar clip items and he clipped them to the stack as well - he'd remove and salvage them once the papers went in. "I've taken enough." He said when he was done.

"Hey, not a problem, dude." [She folded the box closed before folding her arms.] "I'm gonna pop back in here and get back to working with these idiots. Drop by if you need anything else. 'Cept no sneak peeks to the next broadcast, sorry." [She shrugged with a smug smirk.]

He nodded in understanding and chuckled himself, without breaking his stoic expression. "Thank you Salvia." He held the small things in his hands and showed himself out. He backed out slowly as if he still wanted to see what was going on inside there. But this wasn't his job. Eventually the door shut on him and he was left with looking at the worn out suggestion box crudely taped on the back of it.
He studied every tear and dent and graffiti scribble before looking back in his hands. Oh yes, the papers. He should go for his shift too...
