It must have been a horrible swap indeed, for it to stay in the man's memory like that. And for him not to pick up that it wasn't coffee... That was something too. Owen didn't want to press further on that.
The boy wondered why Shorinaga wanted to leave. Sure, the birds were uninviting sometimes, but the man had been here for hardly even ten minutes. His eyes traced over where the man looked, and he caught one of the birds being a little cheeky.
"He is a guest." He looked up towards the bunch, not sure which bird was the culprit. "We do not excrete on guests." Owen was happy he was fast enough to move out of the way, at least. One less thing to clean up.
"If you want to leave we can leave. I could leave an hour ago." He offered.
