Sen never wasted a chance to take a jab at the males on his team. Ever. He partially listened as Atticus spoke up. He supposed as the old fuddy duddy of the team he felt he was the leader. Not that he cared one way or the other he did what he wanted, period.
However as the one armed reject started to speak and acted like his lack of years made him the weak link he could only laugh. "Well might wanna pay more attention to my stats than my age Bub. I'm the only full-time reaper on this team, I've been reaping full time and more since I got here and I do not need any 'hand' on advice from your wrinkled hide." He jabbed his spoon in his direction. "So you can take that baby title and shove it where the sun don't shine."
With a haughty smirk he leaned back in his seat. "As for hunter encounters I've had a couple, came out alive but I'm being... 'classically' trained by another apprentice to help me out on that part. Nothing you need to worry your self about."

Atticus wasn't impressed by Sen's reply, but he respected Natalya's and Cecilio's. He supposed this would be how it went usually. He breathed a sigh, too complacent to want to strangle Sen at this moment in time for his rude comments. In truth, Atticus did not see himself as a leader figure. His emotions, when they came, got in the way of his work far too often than he would care to admit. He had a level head, experience, and a clear mind... but when it all came down to it, there were a select set of things that could light his fuse.
"I wasn't really interested in the idea of fighting... more like information gathering?" Atticus said, more so looking towards Cecilio and Natalya. "When we're given a reap order, we're just given a name, location, and approximate date of death. A lot of times, we have to figure out who the person is before their thread turns red. Sure, we might have to be able to defend ourselves, especially with hunters becoming more prominent but..." He trailed off, his mind giving himself a sort of metaphorical 'tsk tsk'. He was criminalizing Hunters again.
Atticus shrugged once more, "I just mostly feel like we all work best as individuals. I've had some shitty teams, and some really good ones in the past. I honestly don't want my next century or two with you guys to be the former. Besides, we all live together." he said, though he didn't sound particularly thrilled or put off by the idea. He seemed... actually quite apathetic. His expression was hard to read, and his tone gave the impression that he was just saying this for their own good, that he actually didn't quite care.
In retrospect, Atticus seemed capable of finding people to complete reap orders with. He knew guardians, full time reapers, and smart people who could help him. So it seemed... uncertain as to whether or not he really intended for this to work out, or if he was just saying it for good measure.

Cecilio listens attentively to Atticus as he explained, swirling the wine in his glass idly. He can almost hear the conflict in Atticus' voice the more he talked despite the apathetic quality his tone carries. As Atticus trailed off at the mention of hunters, Cecilio spares him a glance, his gaze unreadable.
When the Brit was done, he sets his glass of wine down and laces his fingers together, elbows on the table.
"So are you saying that we need to work on our teamwork? Or are you hinting that you prefer we work separately? From what I can see, almost everyone on this table has a group of friends or several to complete reaping orders with.. instead of with their own teammates." The eldest looking man shifts his gaze from one teammate to the other. He does realize that they've barely completed any reaping orders together. Cecilio supposes it's to be expected considering the fact they hadn't really been socializing much with each other.. As if an afterthought, he added, "Yes, we do seem to work best as individuals... but that's only because we haven't made a serious effort into working with one another despite living together."
The crowd was starting to pour in to the small establishment and Cecilio watches the crowd briefly, scanning several faces; a habit he can't seem to break, aside from finding the nearest exit. Their server walks over and sets Cecilio's dish down in front of him. The Italian unlaces his fingers and politely waits for the rest of the food to arrive first before he starts to eat.

"Awww, now widdle babbie is upset!" Natalya cooed at Sen, reaching over to pat his head. "Shall I sing lullaby for widdle babbie?" Fulltime reaper or not, she could not NOT take that opening Atticus created.
She became serious when he spoke again, settling back in her chair ans shrugging. "I was pilot in life, not NKVD, but I picked up basics with other teams." She wasn't quite sure what to make with the mans lack of enthusiasm - he seemed to have that for pretty much everything. He had do have something he enjoyed - but Natalya guessed time would tell. For now she listened to Cecilio. "Teamwork is good if works. Very bad if not. I remember in Great Patriotic War, mechanics assigned to our unit barely deserved name- but is not important right now. Best way, I think, to see if we are good team, is to go out and work."

Wishy washy, flaky, one-armed snorefest . Ugh. He couldn't think of a worse combination if he tried in a person. He rolled his eyes as Atticus spoke on and eventually tuned him out. It wasn't like anything he had to say was important. He only came to when Nat started cooing at him and patting his head. Which what she was saying was way more demeaning than what Atticus had said Nat was a lady and thus was allowed certain privileges or passes to do and say those things with almost no retribution on his part. His demeanor with the Russian vet was in complete contrast with how he was with the other two.
He laughed, honestly amused with her baby talk voice. "Well if you're gonna sing me to sleep I'm hoping you stick around. Sleeping alone isn't fun you know? Bed's are better when shared~" He said teasingly, waggling hsi eyebrows in jest. He liked Nat, but not exactly his type when ti came to other things. Which was fine, he loved having female friends. Way more interesting than Tweedle Old and Tweedle Lame over there.

Atticus sighed a bit, ignoring Sen once again as the young man decided to turn his attentions to Natalya. Part of him felt sorry for the young woman, but not enough to intervene or anything. Instead, he looked to the two who spoke respectively towards him, finding that they weren't bad company. Sen was the only one who seemed to have the hardest time getting along with his group.
"I'd say for most jobs, we should work alone." he said, but his eyes went to Natalya's suggestion, "But perhaps the next reap order that we get that's particularly difficult, we can go together." he said, seemingly agreeing with Natalya's proposal that the only way they'd know eachother and whether or not they worked well together would be to give it a shot.
For now though, Atticus decided the best way to deal with the youngest of them all would be to simply tune him out. He had to stop getting irritated about the one arm jokes sooner or later.

"We are told to never accept a reaping job when we're alone," Cecilio's tone had a slightly harder edge to it and the Italian looked at Atticus, a frown marring his face. "No matter how competent you are."
He taps his finger on the table lightly, taking in the information his teammates are saying before replying, "Though I do agree on the suggestion of working together on a difficult mission." Cecilio thinks back on the few times they've worked together. Since their schedules and activities are so different from each other, they're rarely around one another when a reaping order is issued. He's had several run-ins with Atticus back when he was still new to the whole system and this was followed by several more bumps with Natalya once they both realized how much in common they have regarding their historical background. Sen was the more surprising of the bunch. Cecilio didn't quite expect him to join into a coincidental reaping order considering how much he finds his fellow man so revolting but he was proven wrong.
It shows that he really shouldn't let first impressions dictate his actions.
Cecilio looks up when the rest of their orders arrive and takes the napkin from the table, placing it on his lap as he mulls their answer.
"Do all of you think it's wise to only go for difficult reapings when we barely have any compatibility with each other in fights?" He asks as his gaze focuses on his steak. He's quite hungry, to be honest and that steak would not taste as good when it's cold.

Natalya gave Sen a light swat, but smiled as she did so. "Well, we can go to training grounds if you want, spar a bit. I promise to go easy on you." she suggested, not bothering with a napkin as she started to dig into her Lasanga. Her clothes already needed washing, after all. "Or we try to make easier reapings together. Can be not entire team on those, I think."
