Walter shot his friend a somewhat confused look at the mention of the sea which was behind them. Why would he want to – oh never mind, must have gotten his compass turned the wrong way around when they landed. The boy dragged the sugar withdrawal victim across the road with him and all the way the through the parking lot to the front door of the mall without thinking much more of it.
“We probably won't find the fairy ring in here since it's a mall and not the market, but you never know, we might find some sort of fairy repellent on our way through to the other side.” Looking over his shoulder at the rainbow mess he was towing Walter furrowed his brows together. “Or a snack maybe..?”
((It's ok, I have been terrible at this myself of late, orz))

((guess who's trying to revive themselves? QuQ))
Maxwell's rigid grin curled itself inward as his tiny tow-boy glanced back his way, a quick nod following the elastic stretch of his expression. "I like snacks!" A snack would probably be in the best interest, none the less. Considering Maxwell hadn't quite brought anything along with him besides a blanket full of colors and toys. His pockets were dusted with sugar powder as lacking in sweetness as Splenda. "Maybe there's a sweet shop? Multishops got's those, right? The big ones with the super specialty goodies? though we'll have to get a super special Fairy ring, in that case."

((incoming revival from the RP void TnT))
A smile a of relief spread on Walters lips. This was sounding a lot more like his usual friend and less of a robotic chicken. “If they don't have a sweets shop they can't be a real mall! And we'll get the most special fairy ring in existence!” he heartily agreed.
Walter stared that the shop directory sign. The dreary feeling of remembering things a little too late was welling over him as he stared at what was written there in the utter gibberish known as Welsh. Thank heavens someone had the common decency to put picture icons next to the headlines so he could at least recognize the categories. Though one of the names struck him as familiar. “I think perhaps that might be a shop that sells sweets towards our left....”

"Left?" Maxwell stare long and hard at the sign, which he couldn't read any more than Walter understood it. Though he was in no position of arguing, giving a heft shrug and a brief grin of approval. "Left is good. Left is right is left behind. So forward--I mean...leftward!" He all but started a purposeful march to the left, firmly leading them on. only to pause in half a stride and skitter obediently behind Walter to nudge his friend ahead of him. hungry as he was for a taste of sweet goodness, he reminded himself to follow! "Do you think, Rainbow Jr, they have any honey combs or sugar daddies? Oooh, or the giant lollipops that look like a technicolor cartoon? Ooh, those are lovely--" ((Revivaaaal~ ))

This push and pull manner of walking along almost got Walter back into a state of worry, however it was cut short by the mention of whatever treasures might lay in wait for them down the hall. Walter smiled, took a resolute step forward "We will know what treasures awaits us when we get there Mr Rainbow!" and with added vigor he exclaimed "TO THE CANDY SHOP!!"
The shop was nothing the size of the American ones he had gotten used to over the years, but in return it stocked some old favorites of his from back in the days. Passing through the door was like walking into a little wonderland of color and sweet smells. "Ah they have millions!" Walter instantly pinpointed the tiny balls of many colors in tall plastic containers, skipped over and got a cup to start filling it up with the pink and blue ones.

There was an odd sensation that came with stepping into a candy shop stocked with the older themes of sweets.Things Maxwell hadn't lain eyes or tongue on in decades, it seemed. It's wasn't all the 'Merica' his tongue was used to, but some things remained from the mixing pot. Malts and rocks and candied buttons, caramel and gummies. While Water filled a cup with colorful candies, Maxwell smoothly ventured past him to inspect the many other choices. Hungry eyes targeted a jar of rock candy on display, crystallized sticks of blue and red taunting him. Licking his lips, the twitchy man helped himself to a wand....or two.
He gave little resistance as he popped the first wand in his mouth and audibly sighed around the crystallized sugar rocks. There was no flavor to the treat but pure sugar sweetness, but it was heaven on a stick. As a contented shiver buzzed through his shoulders, Maxwell pocketed another two wands before venturing off to inspect the malts, oblivious to whether or not he was noticed by the living.
