Sen had not been in his new abode for more than a few days now. But already he felt it had a lot to give. If someone had told him that dying would land him in the midst of a place where stunningly gorgeous women from ages past all resided he'd have told them they were nuts. But boy was he happy that it was indeed real. Or he was hallucinating and actually in a hospital bed. Hmmm but then there'd be no men if that was the case he supposed. Just lots and lots of females all vying for his attention.
So far he'd been laying low mostly but it was hard to not stare at some of these people. He'd even gotten pressed to a wall with a large sharp weapon of magnificent design to his throat for looking a little too hard at a woman who'd bent over. Turned out she had a brother and he had not been too happy about his lewd oggling.
And sadly that hadn't stopped him. He was just being less obvious about his endeavors and kept a sketch book on hand in case someone asked why he was staring. And it had worked. He had yet to really speak t anyone so far though. preferring to keep his silence until he had things figured out a bit more. He'd hate to ruin his reputation right out of the starting gate. I mean this was forever right? Or eternity. He might be with these delightful women for along time. He'd hate to ostracize himself so soon.
At the moment he was sitting at a cafeish table, sketch book open and his paper littered with outfit ideas. He hadn't been hit with any inspiration since he'd died and he kept hoping someone would walk by and ignite that fire of creativity that often consumed his full attention for days.

Midday. It was time to quickly eat lunch - if undisturbed (though Inkidortes wouldn't mind a disturbance - she rather enjoyed chatter with those who approached her) - and then workout at the gym. Then it was back to lovely office work! It was a daily ritual, at least when her work didn't get in the way.
Today she would dine at one of her old haunts. The small cafe tables were certainly no stranger to her, not over the past however-many years. She made her way in and over to a table behind a fashionably dressed man. She took her time to eye him; had she ever seen him before? Perhaps he was a new apprentice that Rhys had talked to. Inkidortes and his sketch book discreetly. Were those...fashion outfits? Intriguing.
Quietly she pulled out a chair and sat, folding her warm, brown hands in her lap as she patiently waited for a waiter to approach her.

Sen had all but given up hope on finding something new to make and was about to fall back on making another outfit for his Fair Lady Death when a bombshell literally walked over. Hello! Such an imposing physique! And he couldn't say the last time he'd seen such a shapely backside. Obviously his earlier near redeath experience from not long before had been lost to him. Blue eyes studied her movements with little care as to what anyone around may think as he sat turned in his chair to openly oggle the woman and let out a low wolf whistle of appreciation.
Did Sen know who she was? Nope! His distinct lack of structured hierarchy had followed him in death. He never sought out leaders and generally he made life hard for them. Especially if they were dudes. Might this habit of his get him rekilled? Who was to say but his lack of discreetness urged him on. "Sweet biscuits and gravy babe, how long have you been looking that fine? Where's your teeming throng of salivating followers?" His voice was light and amused and a devious smirk toyed at the ends of his smile. He had no tact, just none. He could tell she seemed older though, that much he was aware of. The older people around here had this air about them. This however did not give them any special treatment. They got the same as everyone else.

The whistle tipped her off that this lunch break would be...interesting, to say the least. Inkidortes ignored it, and waited for the waiter.
"Sweet biscuits and gravy babe, how long have you been looking that fine? Where's your teeming throng of salivating followers?" That certainly got her attention. She slowly turned her head, granting him a condensing glare, before retorting drying: "Perhaps it was my stellar personality that scared them away."
Inkidortes made an effort to turned the corners of her mouth down so to appear displeased. In truth, she found this situation and the stranger across from rather amusing. Somewhat irritating, but mostly amusing. Not many had the gall to make any such remarks to her. This young'un certainly did, though. Hopefully he erred on being two brave, and not too disrespectful.
As if he had no more presence than a bug, she looked away leisurely and resumed waiting to be waited on.

As the woman turned around to glare daggers at him Sen only smiled mischievously. Her scathing retort was well noted but hardly enough to shake him. He'd heard far worse by now. "I think I could happily overlook that small point in favor of basking in your presence." His reply was smooth and confident as he made a show of closing his sketch book and sliding his pencil behind his ear, diverting his nearly complete attention to her. He never gave anything his entire thought process. Some part of his mind was always someplace else. But this beauty before him had certainly commandeered a large chunk of it.
Wordlessly he got up and walked over to seat himself at her table and set his sketchbook before him. A bit bold? Maybe but this was how he did things. "Let's consider me the braver sort eh? I'm not one to run from a beautiful lady." He commented and then seemed to rethink this thought and smirked candidly at her. "Unless she's chasing me then well I don't mind a little foreplay~" So inappropriate but despite his uncouth words he was obviously keeping his hands to himself. He always did. Unless of course he was given permission.

Her eyebrows nearly reached her hairline as he got out of his seat. Was he coming over to sit at her table? Could he please not? It didn't seem like he had a hand on reading her thoughts, nor her expressions, as the stranger seated himself in front of her. Inkie grimaced and sat up, withdrawing her legs that had been stretched out so comfortably before.
The man's comment on being "the braver sort" had her narrowing her eyes at him, contemplating the absurd idea that he could mind read, or that she had voiced her inner thoughts unknowingly. Inkie discarded both notions into her mental trash can; neither thoughts were rational, nor natural. His comments were bordering the line between playful and perverted, progressively getting worse, almost as if he wanted to provoke her in some way, she speculated. Best of luck to him, then.
"Chasing you? For foreplay? My child, I do not think that is the reason why women are chasing you." Inkidortes took a mock second to 'consider the possibilities' as to why he would every be chased. She wrinkled forehead, tapped her fingers on the table, and came to her inclusion: "Rather, I think they may be wanting to shiv you for paying so much attention to their breasts, rather than their faces."

The woman's facial expressions were certainly entertaining and Sen was loving it. Smiling in amusement at her angry reactions to his words was like candy. Sure the flirty girls were fun and all but the fiery ones were equally so. The only thing he probably enjoyed more were those shy types. Refocusing his attention on the disgruntled lady before him he offered her a toothy grin as he pulled his pencil back out and flipped the sketchbook open. He angled it against the edge of table so he could doodle comfortably without needing to worry about his subject peeking.
He listened intently as she responded to his words looking positively impish as she tapped her fingers against the table in obvious annoyance. Stunning. The sound of his pencil scrawling across the paper was his only response at first but eventually he spoke, his voice bubbling into a low chuckle. "Well well, aren't we presumptuous?" he teased and glanced up at her again. "I'm a loyal fan of the entirety of the female form, believe me. But my personal fetish has always been legs." The pencil scratching continued and his eyes went back to the paper, occasionally flicking up to study his subject with his trademark smirk settled in place.

The sketch book she had noticed earlier was now open and doodled in. Was he drawing her? Would he fall into the artist's trap and exaggerate her more prominent features? Her eyes lingered on the movement of his hands; she was curious. Inkidortes certainly did not advocate her love for photograph or drawn art, but it was still great. Capturing a moment in time with the click of a button or a line on a page was magical. Of course she would critique the art, (she was Cacira Korbis Inkidrotes, after all) but she would appreciate it for all of her’s worth. For example, take the various pieces of paperwork hanging on her wall with curious Egyptian hieroglyphs from Kemta, or splashes of rainbow from Maxwell. Maybe if he gave it to her she would hang- no, no she wouldn't, because hopefully he wouldn't give it to her because she'd have to return to her room before going to the gym.
The man’s reply garnered her attention once again, so she was pulled back to look him in the eyes. “How lovely to know,” Inkidortes replied in the same dead tone, though her eyes did sparkle with a granule of amusement. “Legs are much more useful to have than breasts, after all.”
The smirk that frequented his face was somewhat unnerving to her. In a certain way it reminded her of a certain someone’s smirk, but it was wrong around the corners, the color, the way it formed on his face. The waiter interrupted her assessment of the man’s grin with a “Hello, what would you like to drink?” Inkidortes’ eyes snapped to his face, recognizing the short, red-cheeked man with clarity. He was a good server, a good man.
“A water and an avocado pita sandwich, please.” the man nodded enthusiastically, quickly writing down her order before he turned a questioning look on the man opposite of Inkidortes.
“And you, sir?” the waiter questioned.

"Oh way more useful." Sen replied smoothly, his smile twitching just a tad at a few particular leg filled memories before making another comment. "There's noting quite as mesmerizing as watching a woman walking with confidence and purpose. " A laugh escaped him as another memory surfaced. "Although I suppose rolling forward in a wheel chair can be pretty hot too." The smirking artist continued to sketch thoughtfully from his position when a waiter came over. His eyes rolled reflexively. Didn't cafes usually have adorable ladies in cute skirts serving people? The humanity. His subject of interest ordered and then the unfortunately male waiter turned to him for his choices. He had wanted something in particular before but the bombshell across form him had chased those thoughts right out.
"Hm, I'll take a BLT and a coke with no ice." Simple, tasty, bacony and the faster he ordered the faster he'd be gone. Nothing personal dude, but not being a female was like a three strikes from the get go with him. His hand promptly continued its movements seeming to hover over what he'd been working on as he eyed the rough, unfinished project. Mentally he mulled over his options before attacking it once more but with much more control this time than his earlier languid pencil strokes.
"So." He started up once the guy had departed. "You strike me as the type who's been here... for a reaaaaaally long time. But that aside, where's your place of origin?" He liked to know at least the bare minimum with his subjects.

Inkidortes was not sure of she should be appreiatative that he treated a lady in a wheelchair the same as those who were jot, or horrified that he would go so far to sexualize such a person.
After taking the other man's order, he looked to Inkidortes for confirmation. She nodded and held up two of her fingers; sign language for two checks. The man smiled briefly and strode quickly away, expecting nothing less of his apprentice leader.
With the departure of the waiter, the stranger seemed to get return to himself and the confirmation. At this point, Inkidortes knew it was highly improbable he would leave her alone. She might as well humor him with the small talk he seemed to crave.
Sitting back in her chair, she replying on a sigh: "I was born in southern Iberia, though I lived in Rome for the majority of my life." She paused to tuck away a stray piece of hair, "And you?" Already memories of free grass fields which suddenly morphed into oppressive, manmade walls were flooding back. And suddenly she felt hot. It was not necessarily a bad thing; these memories were somewhat benign, and hadn't been brought to light in quite sometime. In any case, conversation ought the be polite, as long as he did not dig too deep.

Sen had no idea where Iberia was and mentally noted himself to check that out later. But for now rome was enough to work with. He was gonna go out on a limb and assume it was old Rome, like Cesar and things.
"Hm I'm originally form Chile but I was living in New York a few years or so before I was brought to this illustrious haven." His arm made a grand, over-dramatic sweep of the area before returning to his side. Sure he'd died to come here and while there were some very annoying aspects of this the pros far outweighed the cons. His pencil scrawled across the page loosely as he asked another question.
"You got a favorite color babe?" He didn't look up from his drawing as he spoke, keeping his gaze intently on his work. "Or maybe a color you don't like much?"

"Hablas español?"
Inkidortes leaned forward in interest. Did he speak Spanish? Languages were nice. Bilingual people were better, if they could hold a conversation. They couldn't hold a flame to her, though. She was the living Rosetta Stone. Or maybe she was the dead, but walking and talking Rosetta Stone. The line between the two was blurred beyond recognition at this point.
"Yellow." She paused and tapped her fingers on her table. "Like sunrises." Which meant it wasn't just yellow, but a million colors in one. "Although all colors are just colors, so perhaps I jumped the gun. There is no color I truly like or dislike."

"Sí, con fluidez."
Sen replied smoothly noting she seemed well versed in the language that probably wasn't her native one. But he supposed being dead for centuries might give one a lot of time to learn new ones. Heck their very well might have been people here speaking languages that were long since gone form society by the time he was born. And as the child of two history nerd he found that idea quite interesting.
"Yellow and sunrises." Nice, He bet she'd look fabulous in just about any but sunrise hues were a good choice. "Hmm that makes my job easier, you not having any solid preferences." He could appreciate that position.
"Hm so then." He muttered mostly to himself. "Ancient Rome, sunrises and a will of steel." It wasn't everything of course, no woman could be dwindled down to three descriptive words. But it was a nice start. He could work with that. Smiling boyishly he looked up at her. "So you wanna see? Or would you rather it be a surprise?" He asked as he tapped the sketch book a few times to make sure his point was understood.
(Yels can not speak Spanish though so forgive her google translated phrases //slapped ))

"¿Trabajar? Uno que ha tomado sobre si mismo."* Inkidortes spoke in the subtle tones of the Andalusian dialect, softer and more fluid than many of the other dialects she knew of. "Ancient Rome, sunrises and a will of steel." His words...were a relatively accurate description. It didn't give her pause, though, and she watched him with peaceful hazel eyes. "I will wait." The waiter was approaching waiter, hands full of the duo's sandwiches and their drinks. Inkidortes appreciated the man's timeliness and adherence to how she liked to eat out: all at once. That mean the drink and food arrived at the same time. Perhaps she should explain to the fellow across from her about the delay of the drinks...but no, that wasn't quite worth her time. "Thank you," she nodded to the ruddy waiter as he slid her food to her, and likewise to her "dining partner" (she should really ask his name...his face she remembered from a file...one Rhys had showed her but...the man's name escaped her, ah well). "Box please. And everything on my tab please." The waiter was then off, with a smile, and Inkidortes unwrapped her straw and reached for a drink of water. ------------------------- *"Job? One that you have taken upon yourself."v

"Sí, se podría decir eso." He replied deciding to keep the specifics to himself. When she said she'd wait he nodded and closed his sketchbook. He was fine with that. It was always funner to reveal the finished thin anyhow. His scribbles were never totally well received and when he seen the thing completed everyone else just seen his scribbled sketches. "Waiting is good." The food arrived as well as the drinks and he could only assume the lady across from him was the culprit. He didn't seem to mind one way or the other though and just accepted his meal as it came. He stuck a straw in his own drink and sipped on it a little. Perfect. he never understood why people wanted ice in their drinks. It watered it down and made it so frigid you froze from the inside out. As someone who hated the col it was not a pleasant scenario. Dead or alive. ------------------ *"Yeah, you could say that."
